I was visiting at a friend's last night and the mother was watching the Tribe. She's a big fan.
Her age: 103
I kid you not. At the end, she was shouting "we won, we won!".

Naquin doubles and Gimenez fails to move him over, but singles by Santana and Kipnis plate Naquin. Lindor whiffs with 2 on. Napoli flies out to end the threat....but the Tribe has pushed their lead back to 2.

I don't understand why Tito sent Bauer back out for the 7th at like 110 pitches...it was 4-2 Tribe going into the inning.
It's now 4-4 with 2 on and nobody out in the 7th and Otero is on to try to stop the bleeding.

Gomes with an error in the 11th to end it. I'm not sure how much more you can keep playing him.

I agree--the argument for keeping him was because of his defense, and yes he has a helluva arm, but is prone to passed balls-- combine this with a whopping .158 BA and it's a recipe for cutting ties. I don't know what they can do, but you have to bring Perez back when he's healthy. These catchers can't hit anything.

Gomes has a BABIP of like .160. Just historically low. Most guys are up around .300. Not sure if it will even out, but I can't beleive the bad luck he is having.
