Could be A LOT of runs scored (probably just jinxed that) as the offensive Rockies come to town and Reds are starting Straily, Simon and Iglesias.

Some over/unders

CarGo 2.5 HR
Reds 1.5 wins
Reds bullpen 4.5 HR
Votto 4.5 hits
Phillips .5 HR
Arenado 5.5 RBI

Over
Over
Under (somehow maybe starters help)

Cozart and Duvall are tied for 4th in the MLB in doubles

Bruce is 5th in RBI

Suarez 6th in runs

No Reds player in the top 75 of strike outs (hitting)

Well one thing is for sure, cargo will hit at least 4 homers.

If not for the bullpen (and Tim Melville), the Reds could be around .500 for the year. Unfortunately, they have decided to build a bullpen off he waiver wire and from other team's AAA. It's a huge slap in the face to the fans.

It will definitely make for some frustrating games. Game 1 in Chicago was a prime example of what we'll see.

Good offense (5runs) and great starting pitching (no-no in the 7th), then a blown lead by the bullpen. It's going to piss off a lot of fans.

Agreed, and more frustrating that it was Cingrani, Diaz and Hoover who gave it up. Personally, I'd like to see Cingrani moved to the closer role, as he's really the only one with some future pen value.

You and me both know $110,000,000 Homer is goi got have his hands held for 6+ weeks after he comes back. I wouldn't yell if they through him into the closer's role.

Bruce, your front foot has to contact the bag first!

Ohlendorf got within 1 out of 2 scoreless innings.

Lol are you seriously this dumb?

Do you not understand what we were trying to tell you? WE WERE WINNING and you were being a debbie downer. Now we are not winning.

Fucking irritating.

*Reds are 99.99% not winning it all this year and 99% not making the playoffs....we all know this. A few pitchers are going to get innings over Reed this year and they don't deserve it at all. Personally, I hate it, but also understand given how everything is set up.

I am watching each Reds game and if they win I'm enjoying it and if they lose it sucks. It's unlikely I'll ever trust Hoover, Simon, Diaz, Pacheco, Melville but that won't stop me from enjoying a 5-1 stretch or a 2 out of 3 series win against some of the better teams.

I will enjoy every walk off win.

We all know each others' thoughts, can we please mostly keep it to each game? There isn't much talk but some of this is brutal. It doesn't have to be all rosy every win or doom every loss.

Need to win the next 2

Haha no, I understand. I'm just giving you shit all year. I was a Debbie Downer when we were 5-1 because the trends showed it was a complete fluke!

This is what I said before opening day.

I will watch as many games as I can, because I LOVE the Reds. I am excited to watch many of the players. However, I will continue to and never understand why complete scrubs get innings on this team. So yes, when Tim Melville continues to start games and Cody Reed isn't on the 40-man roster, it's bitch-worthy. When Ross Ohlendorf is your setup man, it's bitch-worthy.

Feels like Ohlendorf should have twelve losses this year already.

Ohlendorf is a smoke and mirrors pitcher

Typical is typical. Might give Steve Avery and Kevin Brown a look too.

I want bullpen guys that are tough lefties or throw 98 mph....but not on a straight line like Jumbo. One of those guys with that 3/4 arm slot that simply cannot throw the ball straight.

Also trade Bruce for Harper, Hamilton for Trout, Duvall for CarGo, Suarez for Arenado ....and bat Phillips 4th [emoji3]

Robert Stephenson called up to pitch tonight instead of Simon.

Will BP get one shot or two at homering for the cycle?

Maybe BP will go 5/5 with a grandslam to give the Reds a 12-1 lead going to the bottom of the 9th! If so, I hope Cingrani can protect the win!

Great to see tonight.

Jumbo gone
Stephenson up
Simon to the pen
Cingrani closing

Exactly the type of moves they need to be making. Wins are not relevant.

Wow what a fucking joke. Cingrani whiffs CarGo on 3 pitches and is lifted for Hoover. I hope he gives up 4 runs and then takes a line drive off the coconut.

Trying to contrive no save wins, to keep the payroll down! lol Chapman wasn't worth the money per save, and don't allow anyone to get saves which convert to higher dollar contracts.
