Apparently the games you go to and the games I go to are totally different.
Yes, a lot of tourists go to the games. But every game I've attended (usually 3 a year) it has been filled with Cubs faithful. Even during the drought 2-5 years ago.
Even when the Reds were in town and good, it was still 75% Cubs fans.
As a lifelong, diehard Cubs fan who has stuck with them through thick, and the much more frequent thin....I will say that I'm not looking forward to the influx of bandwagon fans. I've seen them come out of the woodwork already, even in Central Ohio.
One thing that drives me crazy about Reds' fans...most are extremely fair-weather. I don't like seeing my team acting that way.
