Why wasn't Suarez charged with 3 errors? He muffed a grounder with a runner on 2nd and when he got to 3rd he rounded too far it allowed Cozart who had recovered the ball to tag him out after he already had gotten to 3rd base. Some how the batter getting to 1st and the runner getting to 3rd safely has to be accounted for. The batter was not credited with a hit.

Good win. Crazy to think this shitty team would be 5-0 without that damn grand slam

4-1 and playing pretty good ball. I'll take it. And that's with Votto looking like a AA player.

Iglesias is looking great. Suarez is playing well. Bruce is killing it. They aren't striking out a bunch. Gotta enjoy these early moments before it goes bad.

This organization is a joke. They know DeSclafani was out. They promote Stephenson to pitch Thursday. They start a scrub to pitch this game, he's gonna bleed an already shitty pen and probably lead to a 6 of 7 losing streak or something. They literally have 15 better SP prospects than Melville.

Cody Reed anyone?
Amir Garrett anyone?

The scrub just held the Pirates to 1 run. Yes it was through 4 innings, but it was a fine performance against a top offensive team. It's the second series of the year, he's not going to bleed a bullpen in the 6th game of the year. Until we are 20 games under .500, STFU with your constant bitching and moaning. Just enjoy the season man.

A WHIP nightmare but maybe worse is the Reds wailing away early and not in any way working Morton.

I like Straily...The Marshall man

Pirates aren't a top offensive team. An average one. Also, he was near 100 pitches in the 4th. It was the wrong move and it's gonna set the staff back. They have way better prospects and failed to adjust the rotation.

I bitch because the only reason to watch the Reds is to watch guys with promise to be around when they have a chance to compete again. So when those innings and reps are going to scrubs who won't be in the organization longer than a year or two is painful to watch.

Are you one of the guys who wanted to bring Bronson Arroyo back? Or root hard for 35-year old Alfredo Simon? Or are happy that BP declined a trade that would allow us to see Peraza everyday?

Probably should have some guy from AAA take his spot. You know, that fly out will really matter later on.

Whatever you say man. All I'm saying is you're annoying as fuck with your constant complaining.

It might come off as bitching, but it would be different if they weren't valid points. I mean, you're a Browns fan...the Browns threads are full of this debate all year...

A lot of Reds fans are bitching about Suarez looking like Miguel Cabrera at 3rd base on defense....he keeps looking like him on offense too though.

None of the players at 4-1 can make me bitch (only Thom)

@ctrent
Reed's not on the 40-man, don't want to start that clock & this is his AAA debut

Clearly do not feel he is ready. So why the hell rush him along? Let him get his feet wet in AAA first.

I don't want to get into this but I can't fucking stand the "waiting to start the clock", especially with a pitcher. I get why it's done but I hate it.

This.

All I'm saying. If we're 28-48, go ahead and bitch lol but we have gotten off to a good start, why teh fuck would you bitch and moan about not bringing up a minor league player instead of someone who just held the Pirates (a good offensive team, fuck off with average) to a run through 4 innings?

And then be like "you were probably the same guy who wanted Bronson Arroyo?!" lol what the fuck does that even mean?

Heck of a call at home, looks to be correct. Harrison's foot never touched the plate.
