Perfect Dark was solid, but Goldeneye's mutliplayer mode was a staple for many years growing up.

Dude not even a question. Goldeneye might still be the #1 game ever made. It was the first multiplayer of its kind that I can remember. Spent tons of hours playing that game.

Bro, LISTEN.

Goldeneye was my LIFE in 11th grade. I once skipped soccer practice to play Goldeneye, and was punished accordingly. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT.

I bought an n64 a few months ago for nostalgia reasons. It came with Goldeneye. I love all three but Goldeneye is the best.

I was a big fan of Perfect Dark, but the one they released for the 360 was absolute garbage.

Off subject, but PS3 owners....BUY THE GOD OF WAR COLLECTION!!! I purchased it the other day and my god.....it is still flippin awesome.

Man we used to play Goldeneye so much we knew all of the respawning spots on maps after you died. Everyone would go through the map placing proximity mines at all the respawn spots, so you'd die...respawn and die again.

Goldeneye was amazing and revolutionized console FPS, but Perfect Dark was an improvement on Goldeneye. The Farsight was the best gun ever.

Not sure about that but there is a Half-Life 2 mod on the Source Engine called Goldeneye source. It's the multiplayer of Goldeneye with the graphics of the source engine.

OK I agree with Underdog
1. Goldeneye did revolutionize FPS, but what you all are missing is the fact that perfect dark was nearly the same game even including almost every weapon and at least 3 levels from Goldeneye.
2. fucking moonraker laser? are you gay? Ill take a laptop gun, the farsight, or the slayer over that gaybutt gun anyday.
3. I don't remember any of those games releasing a sequel that was better. Turok 2 maybe... but the xbox equivalents all blow nuts.

And from the next generation I like TS2, Multiplayer on that game rocked shit. all the variations, charecters, the bots everything was golden.

I voted Perfect Dark. Many, many college days spent playing that, and it trumped Goldeneye for us. Both are even, IMHO.
