Actually, if Skal, Swanigan, Stone, Ellenson, Rabb and Bryant all declare (expected), you might see every 5-star big from last year leaving.

Wade Baldwin IV gone from Vandy and will hire agent. Damien Jones said before the season that he was coming back. But the longer he stays, the more he will fall in the draft. New coach, subpar year, go now.

With their coach bolting, Vandy will be hard-pressed to keep many of their guys. Roberson, LaChance, Fisher-Davis, Justice, Toye, all solid players could seek PT elsewhere. They need to get on the right candidate ASAP and they can still have a competitive team.

Why would anyone hire an agent this early? Even if you're 100% committed to staying in, I don't see the benefit under the new rules.

To take car of everything. Appointments, workouts, shoe deal, getting in touch with teams, etc. If you are not coming back, I think it makes no sense to not hire one actually. Hate that Giddens is transferring. He had some rough moments but I felt like he could develop into a really good player.
