I love how the Vegas 16 ended up only deciding to have 8. Great start for the event!

Still a better field than the CBI. 4 teams in it have an RPI of over 200, Ohio is the only team sub-100 (and will still find a way to blow it early)

Well, the Vegas 16 is trying to steal the best conference winners from other leagues. That's why they only got 8, because they said the other available teams were too poor. I admire it, to an extent. They got all conference tournament finalists or top 2 finishers in their event.

Yeah I laughed about that yesterday when a friend sent it to me... then looked at the teams in it and said damn those are some good teams and I might actually watch that tournament.

It's a good idea considering they are offering a neutral venue to host the event. The schools are more apt to go for that rather than have to prepare their arena and campus for more post-season games. For a lot of them, it's probably more costly to have to host the event than it is just to take the team to Vegas for 3 or 4 days.

He really did. I hate when refs are so damn quick with the whistle and then get stuck calling that. That was embarrassing.

Dakich is so bad. I just can't listen to him.. yes tell us how smart you are at coaching basketball, yet aren't coaching basketball. It's so annoying. Sometimes he does say some great things and make tons of sense. But 80% of it, is him saying the same thing over and over.

He's not good and was too dramatic for an announcer on that flop....but overall the game was good enough that he didn't bother me

Not a good look for the MAC when their regular-season champ can't get past a middling OSU team playing without two of its top players. When I saw Bates-Diop was out, too, I figured they wouldn't have much of a chance, but things turned out differently.

I only watched the score online and didn't realize he was out until today. That makes me feel a little better about it.

OSU gets another home game because Florida is doing offseason arena renovations

I also didn't realize until I was reading about this that women's basbetball is so irrelevant that NCAA tourney games hosted by OSU this weekend got booted to St. John Arena in favor of the OHSAA boys tournament in the Schott, ouch lol.
