Forgot I'll be playing Pebble in August. Not sure if I'm more pumped for that or New Zealand/Australia lol.

No clue. I'm not much of a planner, prob just land in the city center and go from there. I dont smoke weed, and wont be getting a hooker but will still have a good time. Any recommendations feel free to send em along.

Right now just have a long weekend in Put-in-bay planned in July. I had never been up there until last year but I love it. Can't wait.

If you like drinking and music, Austin will be a great time. Very very friendly people.

We're headed to Fayetteville NC next weekend to see my son at Ft. Bragg. (He's feeling a little homesick, so it's a very impromptu trip.) Then going back down in May and staying in Myrtle Beach. We thought for awhile he was going to Italy and I had a trip all planned. Oh well.

It can either be one of the coolest places or one of the absolute worst places. Depends on what you're looking for, and what your "thing" is. No matter what your "thing" is, though, Gatlinburg will more than likely have it.

The coolest thing about Gatlinburg (before I was sober) was the free booze. You can hop from distillery to distillery, and even a couple wineries, and just sample all day. You won't have to pay a dime to get trashed.

For those of you who would like a beach atmosphere but don't feel like traveling to the ocean, Lake Michigan has some beautiful beaches. We can hit our favorite beach in 2 hours, but we also live in the northwest corner of the state.

Please tell your son that my family prays for him and all of our service people every night. He is one of the many that I have more respect for than any group of people on this earth. Please tell him thank you from all of us!

oil prices where they are mean my vacations this year will be limited. i just got back from a hunting trip to an exotic ranch in south TX. I plan on going up to OH to set up my bow hunting stands and food plots in august, then again to bow hunt and thanksgiving in November. that will likely be it for vacation for us.

last year we did a $10k disney vacation, which i bitched about for a year plus planning/paying for it. but i have to admit it was the best trip i have ever had. my kids super fucking loved that place.

Personal preference. We always go to St. Joseph, MI. But keep going north, and you'll run into all sorts of places.

Thank you. I will tell him. He's in the 82nd Airborne Infantry, and I couldn't be prouder.

Staying in Hatteras on the Outer Banks in July. Annual trip but this year with friends not family. Should be an excellent time.

Amsterdam is awesome, one of my favorite cities. A good place to go with your mom/parents. It's very easy to navigate either by walking or tram and the people are super friendly. I stayed in De Wallen (the red light district) both times and it sounds like it would be shady, it's not at all. You just walk right by the windows, it's an everyday thing. There are tons of bars in the city center so we just did a lot of hopping around. There's a lot do even if you're not into the pot thing.

Are you into art? Lots of good museums. I'm not big on that type of thing, but I did go to the Van Gogh museum and it was really cool.

Some random touristy things...
Canal boat tour
Ann Frank house
Van Gogh museum
Vondelpark (VG museum close to here)
Keukenhof Gardens and Tulip Fields tours (depending on time of year)
Sex show? Didn't go, heard they are fucking crazy though
Amazing club scene also if you're into that

28th consecutive trip to the OBX (southernmost portion) -- always a major saltwater fishing bonanza. May hit Florida also at some point and wouldn't mind a long weekend in Chicago or NY.
