The Liberals on my Facebook are not happy with this guy being picked. Voted against guatanimo detainees being in civilian court, voted to help tobacco companies. Voted against clean air act.

So according to conservatives he is a socialist liberal and the Liberals think he is a corporate puppet. No chance for this guy.

And that practically all republican senators will be voting against him because of this. Obama knows this but nominated him to say he's a moderate who's done a lot of public service and those evil republicans vetoed him.

Politics suck
A justice shouldn't be pro or anti any part of the Constitution. His job is to follow what is there and not make up what he wishes were there.

I kind of feel sorry for the guy. He is a sacrificial lamb thrown up on the political alter. If the senate does not act has he been given assurances that if the democrats win the presidency he will remain the nominee in a new democrat administration. Or will he be discarded as yesterdays news?

That's politics in general. On here, I've seen a few right-wingers talk about how the left has gone really left of what they had been. I've also heard left-wingers on FB talking about how the right has gone really right of what they had been. It'll all part of the "what I believe is correct and anything else is CRAZY" narcissism that politards tend to thrive on.

What do you mean? He got you affordable healthcare. You're forever indebted to him for that.

There is nothing affordable about it. Not only have costs skyrocketed, only a fraction of those who were uninsured are now insured. It is another classic example of government intervention and failure. It is the largest legislative and administrative disaster in the history of the nation ...........brought to you by 100% liberal democrat edict.

Most of whom seem to congregate on Facebook.

You can't be seriously typing that with a straight face. Affordable was the exact wrong word and was a total lie. Rates have gone up and what is covered has gone down (deductables higher). The only positive out of the whole law was pre-existing conditions.

I'm sincerely hoping that Zwick forgot the 'sarcasm' font on his post!

Don't forget, it's not a tax. Of course that's the only way they can force us to buy it, if they call it a tax.
