I've got Cincinnati Bell. I have the partial Fioptics package where it's fioptic cables to a certain point on the pole and then the regular copper wires to the house.
I hate it because the speeds aren't great and several times a week I have to disconnect my router to try to get things back on track.
Unfortunately, the only other option I have is Time Warner who can suck a fat ****.

I have Time Warner here in Cincinnati and don't think I've had a single issue with the Internet in the 5+ years I've had it. I think I have the second highest package for their Internet and it flies.

Comcast and I hate them. Google is supposed to be covering my area in super fast speed sometime this yr, and I really hope it happens. I would switch from Comcast to the the devil himself if the internet speed wasn't total shit. Comcast is the worst.

I have Comcast here in cali. Most things in cali are outrageous, but Internet doesn't seem to be one for whatever reason. I'm getting 25mps for $34. When I'm in the house I use the 5g service and it flies. Outside I use the regular one and it does great too.

Cox. No issues besides the cost of cable, with which my internet is packaged.

TW ....TV and Internet they just gave me a new 6 channel recording box, I only had a problem when the electric and cable lines was ripped from my house because of storm damage and a big tree fell across the lines. I took them two weeks to restore the connection ... And that is how I got the new cable tv box...

We have TWC in Cincinnati. They are not the cheapest option but they are reliable.

I have to use verizon for Internet because I live sort of out in the country. We have a 30G data limit and go over almost every month. (Like last month when my brother in law stayed with us for 2 weeks. My wife gave him the wifi code because he was bored and he watched a bunch of YouTube videos one night)
There are houses about 400m from me on each side that can get time Warner. I'm waiting on a call to tell me how much it will cost to get a line run this far.

I have WOW! and they are alright. A little pricey just for everything I have with them. Their internet is top notch though and I've never had a problem with it.

I have Time Warner, and it's really the only option, so w/e.
When I lived in SE Michigan, I had Buckeye Cable out of Toledo and loved everything they had to offer. Prices were good too.

This. The only service that connects to my new apartment is Comcast and they are the literal devil.Commander of Awesome;1776800 wrote:Comcast and I hate them. TWC and Comcast can fuck right off.

Same here. Switched from Cincinnati Bell to TWC about 6 months ago, and have been really happy with them.Terry_Tate;1776799 wrote:I have Time Warner here in Cincinnati and don't think I've had a single issue with the Internet in the 5+ years I've had it. AT&T. No issues with internet...just DirecTV and their outrageous prices.

AT&T. $70 for a gig. I don't have cable, and stream everything, so made sure I had reliable internet. It's been incredible.

Sounds like TWC may have improved, at least for internet service, since I had them several years ago. My buddy just switched from Cincy Bell to TWC and purchased a different router and modem so he didn't have to "rent" from them and has been really impressed with them.
Maybe it's time to consider switching.

The trick with TWC is to be constantly asking for specials. I switched from showtime to HBO, got a second DVR, and doubled my Internet speed. My bill went down $15 because of a special with HBO.sherm03;1777134 wrote:Sounds like TWC may have improved, at least for internet service, since I had them several years ago. I have Mediacom, which is the best in my area. Pay for 50 mbps, get about 40. They're not the best company in the world, but they're not the worst. We're about to move into the country, and I'm not looking forward to the drop in speed, considering all the streaming my family does.
For all you country bumpkins... what is the best route for country internet? I think I'm far enough out that DSL is not an option.

I have Buckeye for Cable/Internet. No real complaints. I pay up for the 50MBs or whatever internet and sometimes I can tell it isn't performing to that but whenever I do a speed test on the wired connection it is always up to speed. I have a wifi booster but yet sometimes my wifi isn't great in the room right above where the router is, which I don't understand.
Their customer service is actually really good.

I have verizon home fusion. I do not have unlimited data which sucks but it is really fast and fairly reliable. I get 30G of data a month and it's not unusual that I go over.ernest_t_bass;1777150 wrote:I have Mediacom, which is the best in my area. Pay for 50 mbps, get about 40.
