I think Romney will somehow be the nominee at the convention. I think he can beat Hillary.
He would beat Hillary for sure, but not if Donald ran 3rd party.

I do not believe Donald can get on the ballot anywhere else but the Republican ticket. He can be a write in, but will have a difficult time getting on the ballot in all states.

Romney has to be kicking himself he didn't try and run this time.
Pretty damning speech.
But, you know, the way Trump is going, I doubt it has that much of an impact.

What would prevent him from running as a third party?

He'd have to hook up with one of the lesser parties, but it could probably be done.

State ballot access laws.

John Husted already stated Trump cannot run as independent in Ohio.

There's a process in place that takes time to get your name on the ballot in most states. It's not as simple as snapping your fingers and saying "I'm an independent!!!!!" and just magically you appear on the ballot during voting time.

If Trump started now or soon, he might be able to get on the ballot in enough states to be relevant but even that is a stretch and it certainly wouldn't be cheap.

It is possible but unlikely.

I don't think he could (at least in Ohio). Massillon's former mayor wanted to run as an independent but was a democrat for 30+ years. He had to prove he was no longer a democrat to be able to run as an independent. Theres no way trump could prove he was no longer a Republican when he Registered this year as a Republican.

If you’re a veteran, parents of a soldier, son, daughter, wife or husband of someone in the military past or present why would you even think of voting for Hillary ...
Warrior Ethos is what a soldier lives by and will survive by .... Sec of State Hillary Clinton broke that code and America Soldiers, Ambassador was left to die … on her watch, Obama watch and the Democrat Administration watch …. lied to the families of the fallen and the American people, there is no forgiving for cowardly actions in leadership responsibilities.

If Don Trump is the other option the American public will be given. He has my vote.

This is where “We the People” have let the career politicians, corrupted politic, lawyers, IRS, and a big system government take our political system.

If it takes a non-political individual like Don Trump to expose the failure of today bureaucracy…. “You reap what you’ve sowen” bureaucrats.

This will only solidify the Trumpers support for their candidate.

I don't think Romney did the establishment any favors with his speech today. If anything, he gives more flame to the Trump fire that is consuming fed-up voters.

Trump rises because of Romney's speech.

Trump called Romney irrelevant and scared to run because of him.

I agree with Apple.

Trump is spitting in the face of "the big boys".

Buckle up!

Is Rubio running for president or auditioning for a stand up comedy job? Who is advising him? He sounds like a fool.

Rubio is going off the deep end of the desperate pool
