Danny Clark finally makes it official, decommits to OSU for the '17 class. I have a feeling Collier may be next one out, especially if JT comes back.

Was wondering when this was going to happen. I hope him the best in where ever he ends up.

Just read it. After reading it he sounds like he has a good head on his shoulder. He explained his reasoning very well and I am understanding of why he is leaving. I did read they are saying Kentucky or Indiana as places he might end up. Dropping to three stars hurt his status some.

from 11W:
Clark is sure to have plenty of choices on where to attend school and play college football but early signs show Kentucky and Indiana as potential leaders.

Sounds like a good kid. Hopefully he ends up at a decent school and doesn't become trash at an SEC school.

I remember seeing that awhile back on his twitter. Hes going to catch some grief for that at his next gig. lol.

Ready to get this game started. Jt will break the passing touchdown record today. I think he only needs three. O-H

Does having the most td passes ever in the history of tOSU football mean JT is the GOAT?

We'll see how much Urban likes Chris Ash. 44-0 currently. What was the spread?

58-0 currently. OSU's backups are better than Rutgers starters.

The guys who aren't even on campus yet are better than Rutgers starters.

If you're Chris Ash, why would you take the Rutgers job to begin with? It's had like 2 respectable years in last 20 years....clearly something better would have come along instead of being a whipping boy in the B1G. OSU DC > Rutgers HC

Not if you want to a head coach. He took the job because he's the head coach of a power 5 conference team, and how many DC's get that chance? If you want to be a head coach of a major program, you have to crawl before you walk, and this is what Ash is doing.

But what's the peak? Getting a top tier Power 5 job right? To me...it is A LOT more likely he gets fired for back-to-back 5 win seasons, vs turning that dumpster fire around in arguably the best division in college football. Then the whole process starts again...get fired, catch on as coordinator somewhere not as good as OSU, work way up, try again. I would have waited it out for a better spot than Rutgers is all I'm saying.

Having Josh Harris kinda helped that and he moved to Utah very quickly.

...which weren't exactly world beaters either. IMO, if a head coaching job of a power 5 conference team beckons, and you have aspirations of being a HC, you take it.

Right at the end of my tenure at BGSU. That was a fun team to watch. Also reffed those knuckleheads in intramurals. Athletic as hell.
