I know what you are saying....I kinda go the other way with it. I sometimes feel players aren't as deserving of as many championships as they have....and Eli hits that list.

That's kind of my point. When Peyton retired and he only has one SB, I don't want to hear the bs of how he only won one super bowl, or how Eli has more than him. With a second SB, that won't be said. Peyton's legacy toward being the best ever will take 5 steps forward if he can add a second Super Bowl AND beat Brady in the conference championship to get there.

I put not much stock into it, who thinks Doug Williams or Jeff Hostetler or Trent Dilfer had a better career than Dan Marino or Jim Kelly? They are afraid to even drop Peyton back...everything is a fumble or near interception. Might be enough
