What was your worst idea last year ?
that one brain storm that just didn't work out as planned...

This was good but also bad idea..... I had ordered mulch, from the same place I alway order from. Every two yard I remulch around my home. I enjoy the labor and seeing my work improve my property. Hard work never hurt you, just lets you know what shape you're in.
Standard order 18 yd. .... I payed for it before delivery and was not home when the trucksssssssss.. came, I indicated where it was to be dumped. Everything when as planned .... Except .. I didnt get 18 yd ... I got 36 yd. plus. Yep 36 yd for the price of 18. I called the nursery, a guy came out and confirmed the mistake..

After a conversation we agreed that I would keep it .... All for free..and was issued a store credit for 18 yds. Oh boy free shit load of mulch ....

It took me two full weekends to spread that much mulch by myself and a understanding that at 65 years old mulch get heavier with age...

Did you just double up the mulch, or find new places to put it?

Wait a second. So they gave you an extra 18 yards, let you keep it for free, and then gave you a store credit for 18 yards? So you'll end up with 54 yards of mulch for the price of 18? Doesn't sound like a very smart business model from that company...

yes... Remind you I make deals
reasoning ...they would have to bring out trucks, front loader (equipment from other job site and drivers), labor and time (costly expenses with not benefits) plus my time delay ( unset good customer) the additional mulch over run into my yard clean up, additional damage to my yard from the front loader, an last my request that they should spread the additional mulch (that was a bluff) and if they where not willing to make some type of solution cancel my purchase. I will get my mulch someplace else..... Vs the true cost of mulch (my estimates cost of a yd of mulch was 4.00 per yard ) and keep a very good customer .... Bottom line 216.00 cost mistake = less than equipment, labor, time, lose of equipment usage, clean up, yard repair and happy customer. ... In the end it was a win win situation and that makes everyone feel better

Spent way too much money trying to decorate our apartment. Replaced the rug twice, tv stand, art work, etc.,. It was our first apartment together, and the wife and I don't see eye to eye when it comes to decorating.
