Has anyone ever eaten a fruit cake? Or bought or received a fruit cake?

As far back as I can remember our family would get a fruit cake for Christmas, somehow but it was never eaten or put out to be eaten. It stayed in the decorated can as a weigh to keep the door open between the kitchen and dinning room.

Fruit cake sucks.

We still have some in our office from vendor holiday gifts. No one wants that shit.

Never tried it. I don't think I've ever been around one. I'm sure if one is given to me or somewhere I am at I'll try it but I've never met anyone that likes them.

Tastes like sweet bread with the fruit chunks and nuts.

Thumbs down.

I remember when I was a little kid, having old relatives who'd give out that shit for Christmas. It didn't take long for me to realize it makes a better drink coaster than actual food.

I think the fruit cake generation died out and it is no longer relevant.
