Once again, I have been banned on the Browns thread because....gasp...I happen to like Johnny Manziel. It matters not that the vast majority of Browns fans now love how this kid plays football. The moderator hates Manziel and that's that.

Today it was announced that both Alex Mack and Joe Thomas have been selected as Pro Bowlers. How can that happen? This team has allowed the third most sacks in the league and ranked 4th from the bottom in rushing. The perpetual ass kissing of Joe Thomas is mind boggling.

As for the game itself, Manziel and company have no chance to do much against the red hot Chiefs who rank 8th in overall defense. Manziel will operate without his 2 starting guards and 2 of his top 3 receivers. And today his 2 "pro bowlers" on the line didn't practice due to injury concerns. If Tom Brady was the quarterback of the Browns this week, I would put the over/under at 9.5 points scored.

But the Johnny haters are lurking in the wings waiting for the kid to screw up. So far...the haters are 0-5 in Manziel starts this year...as he has played way above expectations every week.

Manziel's public ass kissing of Cueball yesterday was nauseating...but kissing the boss's ass is as American as apple pie. Today Cueball returned the favor in heaping praise on Manziel...just as nauseating....just stop it already. The fact is...they can't stand each other and one f them will be gone come July...with a 99% probability it being Pettine.

Then Manziel will likely follow because there will be a new regime and nobody in a HC role is going to want to take on the albatross that is Johnny Football as their starting QB.

Must be getting to be desperate times in the "WE WUV JOHNNY-CAKES!!!!" crowd, since Foot's already come up with a laundry list of excuses for Manziel in the event he doesn't light the world on fire this weekend.

If you are a Browns' fan just STFU and root for the kid. Fan is short for fanatic...and Wedge is a Manziel fan. Of course he's going to talk up the kid. I'm a fan too.. I want the kid to do well... It's better for my team if he succeeds.

Kosar had two division titles by the time he was 23. Johnny just isn't very smart, had a horrible work ethic, and very limited skills. I will root for him because I'm a Browns fan, but it's hard to see him ever making it.

Although 100 yards rushing for a QB is nice if you're in COLLEGE or Colin Kaepernick, 13 of 32 and looking like total GARBAGE throwing the ball, is not.
