Against my better judgement I went back and forth on FB about this last week. I asked Bengals fans (not smart ones) about how long they wanted their main players in the game vs the Browns and the majority of them wanted them in the entire game, regardless of score because they wanted to prove a point to everyone?...and keep their good play and positive chemistry going. I stuck with the once the game is in hand (no doubt on who will win) ex up 28 late in 3rd or 21 about 10 min left in the 4th.....kept saying the risk wasn't worth the reward because you have to be healthy to win in the playoffs and beating Cleveland by 50 in the regular season isn't proving your team is legit as much as any playoff win by any margin. They just kept yammering about not being respected and I told them 16-0 won't change the minds of those they were worried about.
Dalton was hurt in a freak play and in the moment......could easily happen in mop up time. Shazier did that in week 2 and was out or sucked the next 6 weeks.
