Have you been out yet? Any trips planned?

Some very weird weather going on right now. It's 60 degrees here so none of the local mountains are even close to being open. It will be well into January before any of them are worth a damn. Vermont is an option, but even their resorts are only partially open.

On a good note, I'm going to Colorado in late February and they are getting dumped on regularly!: thumbup:

No opportunities until after Christmas. Going to Boyne Highlands in TSUN late January for a week. It is always a great ski week with great snow up there. I only ski 6-10 days a year unfortunately, but I love it as an intermediate skier on groomed terrain. Too old for nasty falls anymore :)

I plan on heading up to Flagstaff in January or February with a solid group (10-15) and renting a cabin. It's nice to be only about 2-2.5 hours away from there, considering it's skiing in Arizona!

Snowbowl?

Crazy to think you can ski right now in Arizona and New Mexico, both have open resorts.

Yeah, hopefully Snowbowl this year. We did Sunrise Ski Resort near Greer, AZ last year and it was good, but I'm trying to get everyone to do Snowbowl this year.

Snow bowl is a blast, although a slight step up in difficulty from Mad River Mountain in Bellefontaine. (duh-joke)

Best part of living in Phoenix was the road trips North...

I cut my teeth at Mad River! It's a shame what happened to the Lodge. For what it was, it was a nice place. I had some great times there.

We have a house in Breckenridge. Most likely doing Breck and Vail.

My sister lives in Denver so I'm going a few days early, I plan to hit up a random place one day, A-basin or Beaver Creek.

I was on my high school SKI Club/Team. I haven't skied in well over 10 yrs. Always mean to, esp living so close to Tahoe. Never made the trek due to time/schedule/shitty weather etc..... Don't see it changing anytime soon.

I lived in the North side of Phoenix for about a year (Bell and Tatum) 10+ years ago and spent practically every weekend in Flagstaff. I'd like to become one of the old hippie students at NAU. Flagstaff is a pretty fun small college town.
If not up around NAU. spent a lot of time in old Scottsdale or Tempe.

ASU had the hottest chicks, ever....

I know where we usually ski in Colorado hasn't gotten their usual snowfall. I think like 50/135 runs were open.

Make it happen! I've never been, but my friends went 2 years ago. They all raved about it. Also gambling...if you're into that.

This is from last week.
