As for the nominations each coach nominates one kid per weight. That will be the base for starting our rankings. As a team Briggs finished in 9th place with two place winners. Aaron Green 2nd at 220 and Tyler Poeschel 3rd at 285.

I plan on putting out initial individual and team rankings before Christmas, but having not seen every team and very few coaches posting results, I'm not sure of some wrestlers (still in school, still with team, eligible, etc...). So I'm asking for a little help with some names. : thumbup:

Fair, Mengiste & Roundtree from Independence

Burns, Hudsteth, Garner, Freeman, Wade & Britford from Linden McKinley

Martin & Allen from Africentric

Silverthorn (listed as junior at city, but thought he was a senior) from South

White & Woods (woods same as Silverthorn above) from Northland

Fuqua, Ayers & Crosky from Walnut Ridge

French from Eastmoor

Soriano from Briggs

Anyone from East or Beechcroft

So.....Stars Wars was really good, although the plot seems eerily similar to the original 3 (middle 3 in chronology)! LOL!!

Haven't heard from any other coaches about the previously mentioned wrestlers, so the rankings will ONLY include those I know are wrestling (minus ineligible, still cutting weight, waiting for city/sectionals, etc., etc.)!!

Finals of the West Jefferson tournament will start around 330. Amadi Bakari wrestling for 5th @ 106, Austin Sable wrestling for 7th @ 195.

Rameriez and sellers aren't out this year ..also McDaniel at 195 Whetstone might turn heads lots a wrestle off to Dean and Arnold last year to wrestle in city currently 9-5 with 2 losses to the bexly kid. Took 2nd at Desales

both guys won, AMadi in a tough match, and Austin in OT. Good weekend for the Cowboys. Anyone interested we will be having practice tomorrow (weds) from 10AM to Noon all city wrestlers and coaches welcome.

Congrats to Mifflin on placing 4th (and getting a trophy!) at the Cardington Lincoln Pirate Duals!

We finished 3-1 in our pool beating Newark Catholic 30-28, Danville 36-30 & Cardington 42-18; loss was to Ridgewood 27-45. We wrestled tough throughout the day even while missing a few key contributors and lost to a tough Coshocton team in the 3rd place dual 27-53.

Congrats to Robert Cayson (285) and Calvin Haynes (182) on going 3-2 on the day!
Congrats to Namar Tucker (138), Eric Shaw (145) and Delonte Myers (152) on going 4-1 on the day!! : thumbup:

Keep working hard fellas.....our best is yet to come!

I misunderstood your comment apparently....ramerize & sellers are not wrestling this year is what you were saying....my bad and that's certainly disappointing!
