The irony of everything though is that while they have apparently agreed on the draft pick, the team doesn't want to pay Kaep and that is the hold up. Absolutely zero surprise there.

I did see the Travis Benjamin interview and it sounded like he wasn't staying in Cleveland regardless of what they offered. On a positive note to an otherwise horrible season, Pettine will soon be gone and the healing will begin. Barnidge threw away millions and signed long term with the Browns. Terrell Pryor will be a force and Josh Gordon will be back. The defense is absolutely horrible and help is needed everywhere. But with that said the Browns should unload the number 1 overall and draft the best running back available and yes...another offensive lineman in the first round. They should use their number 2 on the place kicker from Florida State. Now IF the Browns don't flub the 2 first round choices, their offense should be top 10 with Manziel wrecking the league.
Sounds like the offer would be their 3rd rounder (65th pick) which is less than Denver may have initially offered (2nd rounder but only a few picks lower). All contingent on restructuring his deal which I believe is $19 million for this year.
