Thats the last 10 years. There are also PLENTY of busts taken in the 1st two rounds. But there are ALWAYS guys worth taking. It's just the Browns have been uncanny at finding the wrong ones...2007 and 2013 are the only years I'd consider to not have a QB who was sure fire nor a QB who panned out as a possibility. I guess 2013 is still a bit early, but looking bad.

Luck was the consensus sure fire "no brainer." Newton, I believe, was also very highly ranked. Carr was a second rounder (doesn't count). Rodgers was a high value/luxury pick for a team who was very good and had a franchise QB in Favre. Manning & Rivers were also highly rated that year. I'm skeptical that Goof or Lynch will be as good as any of the guys you mentioned.
