Saw one thought mentioned a few times that splitting power in the front office opens it up for a head coach wanting more power, in which case you get a Chip Kelly.

The players will still be turds, but hey.

I am ok with booting JFF, but getting rid of Gordon would be fucking stupid at this point. He wasn't a distracting like JFF is and he still has 2 years on his contract. The Browns have nothing to lose on that front.

C ' mon like that, when others have to "baby sit" a teammate, he's a distraction. 2014 season went to shit starting the day he returned.

He wasn't a distraction scoring all those touchdowns two years ago.

Gordon will be fine, as long as he isn't getting suspended.

He paid his dues, now he can come back and prove he can stay clean and produce on the field.

Cutting him does absolutely nothing.

Keep Gordon but impress on him that there is no word that describes how thin the ice is he's standing on.

Yeah, give Gordon the talk of this is it or you'll be begging for money the rest of your life. Grow up, follow all rules (dumb or not)and the sky is the limit.

Can't get rid of Gordon....an elite skill position guy

They beat Atlanta and Gordon had a great game his first game back. To place the blame on Gordon for the season going to shit is just ignorant.

I'm a moron when you're the guy who said "use your next ten 1st rounder's until you get the QB?" The same guy who would draft a QB just to draft a QB and don't give me any "due diligence" shit because everyone here knows you have such a hard on for QB's that you'd take Geno Smith at #2 if he were the top QB in this year's draft. You would, in fact, draft a QB just to draft one....even if he had a late 1st round projection.

Keep Gordon but ditch Manziel. I think Gordon's going to realize he can't screw up again. Keeping JFF on the roster only opens the door to temptation (for Gordon). That dude's (Manziel) a lost cause.

The fact that JFF & Gordon were supposedly in contact on a regular basis made me nervous for any type of success Gordon would have to turn things around. Manziel, on the other hand, gives zero fucks about anything.

I'd definitely keep Gordon. I'd love to see them make Johnny suffer and just sit since he's being a real bitch, but I'm sure they'll just trade him and get nothing.

Lol

And I would trade Geno Smith for Julio Jones...or wait, maybe I wouldn't? You're confusing me!

Just stop, BR. You're an embarrassment to this site.

I'm not embarrassing anyone. If anyone's embarrassed themselves, it's your major QB chubby where you'd take any QB who had a pulse.

The people I know would trade Joe Thomas, in a heartbeat, for a 1st rounder but the problem is, nobody's going to give that for him. If someone offered it, you take it.

Maybe you can come up with the new Browns slogan since Pettine's gone? No more "play like a Brown." You can change it to "we're the Cleveland Browns....we have no playmakers, probably won't sniff the playoffs for the next 3+ years but boy we've sure got a sweet left tackle! Oh, and he'll probably retire here, having never played in a playoff game."

Great game for HIM, then the team went winless the rest of the season.

And the team had a great game since you know, they won the game.

But yeah blame the losing streak on Gordon. Don't mind the fact the offense couldn't run the ball once Mack was injured, or please ignore the fact that Brian Hoyer couldn't throw for over 200 yards after that game. Yup, definitely attribute the losing streak to Gordon's return.

Oh you mean I've got a QB Chubb in a league dominated by QB's?

Wow, how idiotic of me!

Yes, please bring in the DC from a team with a shitty defense. That worked out pretty well with our last hire.

I posted earlier that 2014 went to shit when Gordon returned, and it did. You disagree and I'm cool with that. I can't agree with those that believe that he is not a distraction.

There is no top 5 qb in this draft, imo
