He would have to be throwing the tests on purpose then since he's still in the concussion protocol. I find that hard to believe. Doesn't mean I want him to come back this season, no reason to.

Thought maybe team was just shutting him down...didn't realize he was still on protocol.

Former Browns QB Hoyer with his 2nd concussion in a month...thinking he returned too soon.

I'm not so much "really excited", but I AM looking forward to it!

If we fall a couple of slots because JFF proves that he can play in this league I'm OK with that.

Going to be a painful weekend for the Browns. Seattle is not SF JFF will find that out quickly.

Agreed. It's not so much that I don't believe he can make the throws as much as it is "can the receivers get open against the Seahawks secondary." I also expect the running game to go back to putrid and the Crow to come back to reality.

Seattle's defense is playing very well right now. I doubt the Browns will put up 10 points, on offense, in this one.

Seahawks make a lot of good QB's look bad. Just like I'm not going to judge manziel after playing the lowly niners, I'm not going to judge him after playing the Seahawks.

Hopefully he plays well but I'm not expecting much.

Unlike a certain individual on another thread who has already enshrined him, the expectations of Manziel in this game shouldn't be high. It would be nice to just see him progress and continue to improve.

Don't get your hopes up. Manziel is still one of the worst QBs in the league.

I have zero expectations of him. I'm excited because we can finally see if he's made any improvement. He's getting tested by a great defense and not whatever you want to call the Niners effort on Sunday.

That seems low based on the past 2 weeks.

San Diego: Chance to win any of these three, if Denver has nothing to play for and rest starters.
San Diego is a 1 point favorite this week at home.

Considering that in the losses since the Browns started 7-4 last year, their average margin of loss has been about 14 points, I'd agree.

He's made zero improvement. He's not good.

I expect an absolute dismal, borderline trash performance from Manziel on Sunday. Beating the lowly 49er's is barely worth the breath to talk about how low of an accomplishment that is.

This is such over the top bullshit. To say "zero" is preposterous.

I don't think he's their long term answer but if you can't see that he's improved from Tennessee to Pittsburgh to SF, you're blind. And it's obvious you didn't watch that Cincinnati debacle last year.

Granted, SF wasn't much of a test but his play could've been significantly worse. He's far from a "franchise QB" at this point but he has "improved."

Improved from dog shit to potential backup is an improvement; however irrelevant to solving the Browns rotating door at QB.

Manziel is going to get his ass handed to him against the Seahawks. His "improvement" is a joke at best. He's not good, he will never be good, and if the Browns had any balls they'd cut him immediately.

Well that's more than "zero" improvement. He may never be good enough to be an NFL starter but you at least have to give the guy his due that he has gotten better.

This isn't high school or college. Improving is useless.

Manziel sucks. Cut him.
