I'm not saying the PC culture that's being created isn't a problem. Hell I started a thread on it, saying how awful those people can be.

My issue on this thread is with QO and sleeper claiming PC culture caused this massacre.

And yes, South Park has been great this season (first good one in a while). The safe space song is on my phone as a ring tone.

Didn't say that either, whatsoever. Terrorist shooters caused the massacre .........(not even the guns).

It's certainly a possibility that this could have been prevented if we didn't have such a PC culture based on the comments from the neighbor. Not sure why this is being argued or why you can't follow.

The neighbor obviously felt something was odd, or strange, or abnormal, or suspicious .......otherwise he would not have commented as he did. I just read on the OC that a group of OC people are calling someone whom they never meet, know very little if anything about this OC participant, potentially misinterpret this individual comments, assumed the intention but has now quickly label him as a racist. Wow! Those same individuals PROFILE individual with poor spelling and grammar as they assume as stupid without any knowledge of the individual.

Surprisingly (or not), a number of people I know who are otherwise functional, bright humans do not. They don't get, for example:

1. Conflating a crazy person killing a bunch of people and a terrorist act as "the gun problem" is not going to yield a solution to either. They're two different things as much as some don't understand or don't admit understanding.
2. California is one of the most (if not the most) restrictive states in the union in terms of firearms.
3. The terrorists broke hundreds if not thousands of laws including murder. Why would any rational human think there is some law that criminals would obey?

No, because that is not a logical extension. A logical extension would be that arming responsible people at places of public congregation makes sense in that they have the ability to stop terrorists at some point, thereby saving lives.

Every time we have a mass shooting it occurs at places where 'guns are not permitted'. These gun-free zones are perfect target-rich environments for terrorists and the like. Logic says, eliminate these target-rich environments.

You have a random killing with guns involved and some people automatically take the "ban guns!!!" slant, despite minor facts such as criminals planning to kill people aren't going to pay attention to any gun ban AND that the majority of gun owners are responsible citizens. Therefore, not a viable logical solution -- just loud pandering of personal political views to people.

Or with this case, you have people taking a vaguely-worded excerpt from a story in which a guy, after the fact, made mention he noticed people there, but didn't want to racially profile them and didn't say anything and deciding to fill in any blanks with their own beliefs, so in their minds, he apparently noticed said people doing suspicious stuff but was afraid to say anything because PC SOCIETY would crucify him. Once again, no viable logical solution -- just loud pandering of personal political views to people.

Based on the statements from the neighbor. You aren't being clever, you just don't know how logic works.

It's really no different than the clock kid. If a white kid brings a bomb clock look-a-like to school, he is arrested and expelled. If a muslim kid does it, he is racially profiled, gets internships, free stuff from tech companies, and a visit to the white house(in addition to a $15M lawsuit + request for written apology).
