Losing Herman killed this season. Early in the year they had Cardale out there and he looked like shit running the zone read and throwing bubble screens, so instead of throwing the ball downfield to future NFL receivers, they fix it by bringing in Barrett who can run the zone read great against Rutgers and Illinois, but when they face a real defense, we get this shit show. They haven't thrown downfield all year, so I shouldn't have expected them to do it tonight when they needed to.

Next week is going to be ugly. This defense hasn't slowed down a competent running game all year, and UM has some big backs that will abuse this front, not to mention Peppers out of the backfield. Harbaugh is going to embarrass Urban, and hopefully that will be enough to get Beck fired and we can bring in a real playcaller next year. I just hope Urban doesn't retire after he sees the exodus of talent leaving next year.

No. Urban does not call plays. He is on the headset and can intervene but he doesn't call the plays. He's just taking the blame because he doesn't want to create rifts in his coaching structure.

Urb is going to quickly wear out his welcome at OSU with more efforts like this season. He has been a lazy fuck all year and not been willing to put in the work with his coaching staff to put these players in a position to succeed. He cost Cardale millions by not advising him to enter the draft while his stock was at its highest, and he ruined Zeke's chance at a Heisman today.

True fans have noticed it all year with this guy, and many of the hanger ons are finally seeing it after today.

This is turning into Florida all over again. Once his competent assistant coaches were poached after their titles he was exposed for being what he is. Herman left and took all the brain power with him, as the same group this year has looked like a shell of itself without him.

Urb should be put on notice now that if he doesn't intend to earn his paycheck they will find someone who will. This lack of effort and willingness to work can't be tolerated anymore.

If he had any class he would apologize to the tax payers of the state of Ohio for stealing their money this season. Fat chance of that happening with this guy.

At least this week I don't have to worry about being banned because finally everyone saw for themselves today the level of interest this coaching staff and their fearless leader have for their student athletes. It wasn't a pretty site, and ruined senior day.

One thing to point out, IMHO, is that OSU played it's worse game in the Urban era and MSU played about the best they possibly could and it still took a last second FG to win. Not making excuses, MSU earned the win, but food for thought.

Ohio State equals 2010 Alabama. Came in with super high hopes returning the Heisman winner, Julio Jones, Hightower and Mosley. Wound up going 9-3 losing in every big game
