Most terrorist attach happen in heavy civilian populated gathering areas. If terrorist attach happen in a public venue your attending, how prepared would you be to protect yourself or family?

Public education prepares kids for fire and tornado drills, should we start a terrorist training program?

As citizen and parents should we be trained in (Belly Program ;) )
“Look, Listen and Think” terrorist programs to better prepare ourselves to protect our families in the event of a public terrorist attack?

Living in DC, I am a bit concerned. I don't plan on being around the touristy and crowded areas often.

I'v found myself being more observant during my commutes this past week. I work in Midtown, so it's definitely not ideal.

Fuck Terrorists. I do what the fuck I want. Changing anything about my day to day gives them a hard on and I'll be damned if I'll give them that satisfaction.

I was in a movie the other night and at the beginning of the movie where they say don't talk, silence your cell phones, etc they added "report suspicious individuals"

It freaked me out. Started thinking about worst case scenario. And I was in the first row of the second section of the theatre.

Probably won't go to too many movies any time soon.

I guess I wouldn't be very prepared. But if there is a shooting spree or a bomb goes off near me, I guess I would hope that I didn't die. Then I would try to help anyone I could while also trying to get to safety.

I think about it pretty much every time I see a movie. But I still go.

I agree to a point JCrazy...I think what Belly is saying is don't cancel or reschedule normal activities but be vigilant as we do so. Look for the guy that appears out of place or seems excessively nervous, fuck profiling...if some rag head looking mofo is hanging around I'm gonna keep an eye on him and if he's carrying a backpack etc...I'm calling law enforcement and reporting his camel humping ass. I don't like Sand Jockeys or Somalis and don't give me the company line of 90% of them are good people...fuck that...90% of them would never turn in one of their own even if they knew he blew up a Wal Mart. These people are sneaky, lying, lazy fuckers and the rest of us should be bent on making their lives here in the U.S. as uncomfortable as possible.

Now there's another "black minister" ( are all non-criminal black men "ministers"? ) in Cbus that wants to being more refugees into the state. Another "black minister" brought the Somalis into Cbus over a decade ago and now they are the prime criminal element in the city. Dumbasses.

I worry that if something were to happen I would have a hard time not trying to help the wounded and it would end up getting me killed myself.

you should get out more ... you do know BG/Wood county is an area big for human trafficking...so you should be worried and concerned. With trafficking comes violence and at anytime you could be or a friend could become a random victim of the violence linked to drug, crime and human trafficking. But you keep you head up you ass and you'll be fine. Hope this helps

I'm as prepared as I should be. Living in BFE I am sure I am pretty safe. They don't want to kill just two or three people they are looking at making an impact.

Correct. It's the serial killers you need to worry about.

This 10000x.

No idea how human trafficking isn't a bigger topic in our country.

Law enforcement urges "Carry them if you got them" .... " Lock and load"

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/12/10/growing-number-law-enforcement-officials-urge-licensed-owners-to-carry-guns/?intcmp=hpbt3

Please note: Belly suggest to those who have a CCW but are not proficient or currently haven’t been to the pistol range since you gotten your CCW don’t carry. If you’re packing, you should be at the range 2 hours a month minimum working on your skills and knowledge of your weapon.
