Would you be a responsible adult and spend it on bills or save it or some bullshit? Or would you blow it on something fun?

I'd probably spend it on travel.

Happens fairly regularly at the casino. Usually pay down bills & save some. Once in awhile will splurge on stuff.

Since bills are in order and mortgage rate is super low, if any money left over after daughter's braces, I'd look into a 4-6 person hot tub.

Just answering the question, but noting that I don't have any bills to be paid down, therefore I would have the option of splurging instead of saving. If you have bills with any sort of interest, obviously, pay those down.

Money won or found is money you did not have nor depended on before winning/finding. So it is in Belly thinking "enjoyment fund "

I got a $20k bonus last year and I didn't spend a single drop of it on "bills".

Hoping for another $20k bonus this year.

...all my bills are paid current, no debt, so I'd stash 1/2 of it & take the other part and vacation with it.

money i spent gambling is for enjoying, i would treat the winnings the same way. now if i won an amount that could really change my life (i.e., pay off the house, retire, etc.) i would do a little bit more to save that money.

I could see me putting up to half of it back in savings and partying the fuck out of the rest of it.

I also could see me partying the fuck out of all of it.

But, yeah, I'm not poor. You drop a decent sum of "SURPRISE!!!!" money in front of me and I'll be having fun with it.

Do you go to OSU games with Tiernan and all of his "friends" as well?

I believe someone can have frequent big wins at the casino. I don't believe for a minute that someone makes money overall. The law of large numbers proves it.

Yeah, let's see pics of the losing spins.

My friend hits on dogs/horses all the time. He also practically lives at the track.

My comments were "happens fairly regularly at the casino." He doubted it but it does.

Of course you're going to lose some but we haven't lost anywhere close to what we've won over a 3 year period. Not even close.

So do I, more than you. I've bought two cars, got a new kitchen & bathroom addition (along with various other home improvement), along with a few other "toys" with my winnings. Unlike some of these morons I see hit $5k and then throw it all back into a machine, thinking they are going to hit the "big one", you take a lump sum check and use it for something constructive.

There's no secret system to slots. The facts and the math are simple. Unless the machines are paying out more than they're taking in, if one continues to play, one will lose. Not opinion, mathematical certainty.
