According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict has "a good chance" of playing against the Steelers on Sunday. NFL Media's Rand Getlin noted that Burfict will be a game-time decision. This could be Burfict's first action in more than a season after undergoing microfrature surgery on his knee. Burfict returned to practice Thursday afternoon.

This is pretty shocking, if it happens. Some wondered if he would ever play again...

I hope Roethlisberger is back. The combo of Vick and Jones essentially makes the team borderline unwatchable.

Always makes me lol

If Ben is able to move and be Ben they have a chance but I worry they won't get any pressure on Dalton

Bengals 31
Steelers 19

Always enjoy listening to my dummy coworkers talk football. Coworker #1 said he always worries when the Bengals play the Steelers. Coworker #2 replies "Why? Pittsburgh don't have anyone this year." Nobody besides one of the best running backs, wide receivers, and Roethlisberger who, IMO, is a top 6-7 QB as long as he's healthy.

Anyways, I think they split home games this year. I could see the Bengals making some dumb mistakes middle of the game, then go too little, too late in a comeback attempt at the end and lose a close one.

It's funny. The defenses both have everything to prove and the offenses could be unstoppable. Then again, watch it be like 17-16 and a struggle.

I'd bet on a shootout though. The Steelers offense hasn't gotten on track without Ben, but the Bengals D has been gashed a lot by garbage time yards and points (Raiders, Chargers, Chiefs and Bills). A lot of that damage came after they had 2+ score leads.

Vontaze Burfict activated to the 53-man roster (which means he will dress, because otherwise they could keep him off the roster for 2 more weeks) and Greg Little released. Amazing that he will suit up tomorrow.

He won't take any PT away from Rey right? I can't think of who they have started at linebacker besides Maualuga and Rey

A.J. Hawk. I doubt he see much on 3rd down, but I definitely think he will see 20-25 snaps. People forget that even Burfict at 80% is huge. He's the defensive captain.

I'll guess each team plays better in this rivalry this year while on the road.

Last Year Bengals struggles after their bye week. I think it happens again this year and the Bengals get their first loss of the year.

Dalton is going to get one of his receivers killed. Brave play by Jones but I have seen Dalton do that so many times to his big receivers

4th and 5 but after the 3rd down play Pittsburgh called for taunting as Mitchell and Green were jawing with each other.

Worse stuff will happen 10x a game and go uncalled

Bengals executing terribly. Penalties, drops, not sure what the hell that was on 3rd and 1. Cost them a FG.

Burfict, however, is already an upgrade over Hawk and Lamur. Even if he isn't 100%.

Crazy ass play? Not sure if snap was supposed to go by the QB or not? If so Benard should've been a step over on his set up

3rd and 1 they get cute. Get in the I formation and run it with fucking Hill.

Instead they try a direct snap to Bernard out of a weird formation. Stupid.
