I agree these kids will be messed up, but if they have to grow up without a mother and live with what their mother did that messed them up, wouldnt also the kid who slept with them also have a pretty good chance of being messed up? I was 33 when my dad did some fucked up shit in our home town. Whenever I talk to anyone I always wonder if they know. It was very public and he was on the news. I don't know how everyone doesn't know. He was fairly popular in the community and everyone still asks me about him and how he's doing. I never know what to tell them and I honestly don't want to talk to anyone about it. I can't imagine how I would have been able to deal with it had I been a teenager when it all happened.

It's a socially accepted thing to view sex as somewhat trivial and as mostly a benchmark by which guys can compare themselves, so there's a natural inclination to do that, but if nothing else, the kid might end up with a pretty fucked up view of what sex in a serious relationship is supposed to be. Who knows?
