Well yeah, if you draft someone and they dont play you cant just pick up someone else.

I did it last year. It can be done, if you find the right player.

We decided on allowing adds/drops for free and without the 5% rule for week 1 injuries. Not sure what we do with eligibility. I mean, he drafted him knowing he wasnt cleared...seems like the fault of the team owner.

Last year if you had a guy not play, it counted as 1 game played (even if team played 3...). And you either took a 0 from him or subbed in the lowest amount from the bench, if you had that position available. So, for Fowler, Goon will just sub in someone who DOES play from the bench, that is the lowest average of those 3.

No, I agree with you. I was laughing because it sucks for Lafferty lol

I just wanted to double check who he could and could not pick up before I tell him...because honestly, the rules are very confusing lol

We started this about a month from now, last year.

Figured we we should see who is in again this year and set the order, as soon as we can. Less than 4 weeks until the season kicks off...

That's 7 returning. Missing Lafferty and SportsAndLady from last year. I know Reclegend, wildcats20, and ironman02 are on the college basketball forum pretty frequently as well as a couple others but not sure if we'll get anyone new to join.

If we can get 8, lets expand the rosters a little bit and go with it. I'd prefer 10 or 12, but 8 is probably the bare minimum.

10 would be ideal. We wont get 12, but can probably get another 2 (assuming Terrys friend joins).

Id like to start the draft soon...the closer it gets to season starting the less rounds we will be able to get in.

We're getting close to having to start the draft. Probably would be ideal to start by next Monday, as that gives us like 5 full weeks to get everything set up. Fantrax is just starting to update their roster database with the new Freshman and clearing out the players who have moved on.

Almost everyone I know doesn't follow college basketball enough and wouldn't want to join this, but I'll check around.

Well, I assume we're probably out for this year. We really stretched things with 9 last year, but with even less confirmed and needing to start the draft ASAP, I guess we'll have a hiatus for this season.

Fantrax has updated (and cleaned out) their database. So, we're ready on that front. We could probably do a text message thread between all of us too, if we wanted to expedite picks. I'm usually able to post for people barring that I'm not sleeping or working out.
