So if Negan's this big name and all, and his henchmen are all waiting in the road for Darryl & co, how come no one else from Negan's group heard the granade explosion or reacted to it?

Could be they were a large distance away? It looked like that group was a "search" group. Daryl killed them all. If you watch Talking Dead, they talked about it a little bit.
It looked like the bullet grazed his eye; enough to shoot it out, but then went off to the side. It didn't go straight through.

I think Jesus is the best character they've introduced, if not maybe the entire show (aside from Darryl). The writing was strong, and the acting was excellent (and the acting, IMO, is where most of the characters really suffer, though that can be the result of writing).

pretty confused on while they barely even attempted to tie him up during the second time? or why there was only Darryl watching him? Its like after last week, they really really let their guard down for some reason.
