You're certainly entitled to your opinion and I am not saying whether you are right or wrong; however, IMO, I am not sure I would say Cardale Jones "won us one" so much as he filled in and was able to perform enough. IMO, Ezekial Elliot and the offensive line won the title for OSU. I think it is also fair to say that JT Barrett put us in position to get to the playoffs. Could Cardale have performed during a full season schedule? So far it's still up in the air. Could JT have performed in the playoffs? We do not know and may not ever know.
My thought is that the offensive scheme that Ohio State runs is more tailored for a QB with Barrett's skill set. He has not looked spectacular in his series he has had so far, but he hasn't been given a chance to get into a rhythm either.
It also seems like this offense is not quite suited for Cardale's skill set and that they need to either adapt a scheme more suited for him or put JT in. I'm not sure one is better than the other, it's all about what type of offense you want to run and what QB best fits that offense. JMO
That being said, I don't have 1/100th of Urban Meyer's football knowledge, so I defer to his decision.
