Tribe completed the beat down on Minnesota in the night cap... Final 10-2.

LOL .. Twinks getting a little testy in the 9th. Poor babies.

Good for Murph...always liked him and the way he played. From an Indians standpoint, the trade benefitted them too... Chisenhall was outstanding.

WTF are the Twins so upset about the Ramirez HR?

Manning and Jensen Lewis both defend the Twins for being upset.

"That's not how the game is played" they say. Pfft.

(For those that don't know what I'm talking about: in the 9th and up 7-1, with one on, Kipnis was intentionally walked and then Ramirez smacked a homer......posed a little bit and flipped his bat. )

Big fucking deal.

It was a little over the top and perhaps a little too much showmanship, but you know, Paul Molitor, when you intentionally walk a guy down 6 runs in the 8th so you can pitch to a weaker hitter, maybe that guy takes it a little personally. Besides, Molitor wasn't too upset when Tori Hunter hit a bases clearing double in the first game to break open and knock Carlos Carrasco out of the game....and he flipped the BAT!

It's just stoopid baseball stuff that is part of the game and always will be.

With the Angels loss, and the 'Stros losing big....Tribe season lives for another day...elimination # is ONE.

OMG, I'm sitting at a Max and Erma's in Cincinnati and reading closed captioning on an ESPN talking about if Ramirez should apologize. Two of the analysts are making fun of the Twins because their feelings got hurt. They brought up the Twins stealing in the first game when up 5-0.

Unwritten rules...... Pfft.

Twins should be pretty forgiving given Tito handed them a win. Who the f *** pitches to Tori Hunter in that situation with first base open?

A loss, 4-2. 78-80

Can we end at .500?

Tribe finishes it's "stretch run" seven-game series with the twins going 2-5. They had to flip those numbers to have had a shot. For what it's worth, it wouldn't have been enough anyway.

A quick season postmortem… Too many early-season losses( 7-14 April) coupled with too many early-season give it away games. Lack of clutch hitting in first half of season. Too much dead wood on the roster.

if we win two out of the next three games we will be one game above 500. If we lose two will be one game below 500. The "missing" game is the Detroit rainout that won't be played....because (to quote Hillary Clinton)..."IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYWAY".

Optimistic for next year. They will have three potential .300 hitters in the first three spots in the lineup. Still need a right handed power stick to bat cleanup. Chisenhall seems like a different player in the outfield. The starters will be very solid and, of course, Santana can gfh and hopefully gets traded.

I'm optimistic for next year, too. However, I was optimistic for this year. They had high expectations (multiple sources projecting them as division winners) and came out of that gate horrible. Just playing .500 ball in April has them right in the hunt.

I'm mostly optimistic because Lindor is finally up and they got rid of the dead weight/albatrosses (Bourn/Brohoio). I don't know the name but I hear they have a friggin stud centerfielder (Zimmer?) in the minors that looks like he could be a 5 tool player but is a little ways off from getting here.

I think that hits the nail on the head.

Bradley Zimmer. He should be a 5 tool player who develops power as he gets older. Another lefty though...

Im excited form Clint Frazier if he can ever cut down on the Ks. He is going to be a corner OFer most likely with Zimmer in CF, and he has a pretty good bit of power. If the Tribe keeps him at a corner OF spot, he should develop even more.
