I think if you want to draft every player on dukes roster you should have that option. As long as you don't welch on payment when your team predictably blows dick.

My concern is, the draft still has to get done. 180 picks on the forums. In like 3 weeks. If the extra twist slows it down enough, it won't get done. And I love anything challenging, but at the same time, conference affiliation is also pretty random and unbalanced.

Keep suggestions coming though. Whatever people want, we can consider.

I honestly think it would make the draft go faster, mainly the end. If you are limited to certain conferences, you won't spend as much time as the options are much fewer

Any text back from Birddog? I'd hate to put someone in for $40 and a draft spot if they don't want in? We might have to roll with 9 teams...maybe do just 4 team playoffs and extend the season a week?

I would include him in the draft order. It's easy enough just to skip over/remove him if he doesn't show, but if you don't include him and then he pops in we'd have to redo everything.

No text back. I mean, that's as direct as you get in getting in touch with someone on a message board.

Id include him, skip his spot until (if) he shows up. If at that point he wants to make picks to catch up, he can for the $40, otherwise, he can say no and we move on with 9.

No cost for the site. We drop the playoffs to the top 4, extend the season a week and we have $360 to play with.

11/13 - 11/22
11/23 - 11/29
11/30 - 12/6
12/7 - 12/13
12/14 - 12/20
12/21 - 12/27
12/28 - 1/3
1/4 - 1/10
1/11 - 1/17
1/18 - 1/24
1/25 - 1/31
2/1 - 2/7

2/15 - 2/21
2/22 - 2/28 - Semi-finals
2/29 - 3/6 - Finals

So we have 16 weeks, until the major conference tournament week starts. Do we do playoffs for 2-weeks each? Like semifinals week 13/14 and finals week 15/16? Or do we expand the regular season longer and just do a single week for each playoff round. The latter will give more teams a chance to get in, but might make the playoffs a bit more intriguing and lucky. I like the latter...
