This site can't survive without a lively debate on the topic. :)

I was wondering how long until this debate was brought up.

I do plan on picking up a copy of Windows 7 if I can get it on the cheap, it looks good. I am stuck with Vista at work and it is a giant piece of dog crap.

I'm a PC. I've tried Mac's and they just don't have the power and functionality that PC's do. I'm sure that if I were an architect, graphic designer, movie editor, or music producer then I'd use a Mac. However, I'm none of those things, so I'll stick with my PC. Especially now that I have Windows 7. (All that being said, if Mac someday has a majority market share over Windows, then I'd probably switch.)

Using Windows 7 now. Me likey!

I don't dislike Macs at all. However, I think there are way too many "fanboys" who buy a Mac just because they think it's the cool thing to do. The couldn't tell you one reason why it's better other than what someone told them.

My favorite feature of the Mac:

The Terminal! Being unix based is the biggest positive the Mac has, IMO.

I have full root access to the file system on my machine. I can use it to connect to the server I am hosting this on and can copy files from my machine to the server without the need for multiple programs (putty and winscp when I work on the site from my Vista machine).

Mac. Both at work and home. I've pretty much used Apple products my whole life, I think.

I find it so funny that people are not smart enough to have 2 HD in there system and run both. Both have have positives and negatives but if you have to have one than the answer is PC. Just get a PC and get an extra HD. install it then install Apple's OS and you now have a MAC.

I've got one. I don't use it much, though. It is nice for streaming video's from itunes to your tv.

Mac's are okay for personal use and real good for design type things. However, trying to use them in a business environment with servers just sucks.

i'm really cheap. to look at me, or my house, or my cars you'd never guess my income is what it is (maybe looking at my TV's and gaming systems would tell the story).

FYI babies cost money even when they sleep, so I've got that to fight off.

PC. I don't do any editing so I don't see the need for a Mac. Plus, those stupid commercials have really put me off, talk about dumb.
Plus, I love to play video games on my PC, can't do that on a Mac.

Mac. Swtiched in 2007 and never looked back.

Love it. I'm still running Leopard though, I'm looking to get Snow Leopard soon enough, as well as Windows 7.

I know too much about computers and do to much stuff with them to limit myself with a mac.

I've used both. At work we used to have all Macs but becaused the damned things won't play nice in the sandbox with business servers we switched to PC's.

Macs are user friendly girlie machines. I'll take a PC any day.

If Macs are so damned superior why is Windows kicking Apple's ass? Just sayin'....;)

Lol yeah just because those Mac commercials are everywhere doesn't mean they are popular. Last I checked Mac only has around 5-7% of the market.
