I'm not greatly up to date on my NFL stuff but this doesn't look great for my Steelers. In Foxboro...with Brady...without Bell/Pouncey.

I think with Bell and Pouncey it could be a highly entertaining game and it may very well still be but I assume Pats are decent favorites. My holding hope is that Pittsburgh usually shows well in these types of games where many figure them to lose.

I don't think I'll even be able to catch this, since my buddy's band is playing in a local festival and I'd rather be drinkin' and rockin' than sittin' and yellin'.

Just seems like one of those "hope they do good" games where I'll check the score and see they lost 37-7. NE is in "pissed off" mode with DeflateGate and the new ESPN report on their cheating and spying. Pittsburgh has key guys suspended (or injured, in Pouncey's case), they're on the road and in recent years, they've just seemed to suck in the early going and picked things up as the season progressed. In their favor, they are playing a good team and not the Jags or Raiders.

Not sure what to expect. From everything I've read, the secondary is shit, so they could get lit up.

Honestly wouldn't be shocked to see the squeelers steal this one. Still got Antonio Brown, who I think is the best WR in the league. With the loss of Revis, don't think anyone can stop him on the Pats. Not sure who's going to run the ball for the Pats, allowing the Steelrs to play more in the secondary.

That whole "make every one of the carcasses Buffalo is looking at to play QB look like fucking Brady at his best" was a bit worrisome, yes.

Same formula as always to beat NE. Play psychical at the line on the receivers and hit Tom early and often.

Sucks Bryant is out, I expected big things from him this year. Hopefully Wheaton steps up.

Football is back, thank jeebus.

Even putting my hatred for the steelers aside, still gonna take the pats and the 7 points.

I was saying the basically same thing last weekend. Doesn't feel like football season at all.

For me, I think part of it is just because it was so cool and rainy for June and part of July and didn't start consistently feeling like summer until later in July. Mentally, I think it feels about a month earlier than what it really is. It's September now, but in my mind, I think it's August.

Almost every prediction I've read has the Patriots absolutely rolling the Steelers.

Couldn't tell ya.

Maybe because it's been so hot and humid here lately. Just doesn't feel like football weather.

Shocker there...
