Anyone else hear this?

Got a text from my brother that Bruce Drennan said that there is a meeting tonight with Mangini and Holmgren and the word is Mangini will be fired.

Just relaying the message...

I'll bite. Anyone have a link? I suppose I'd be a little surprised at this.

If this happens and they bring in some other schmuck and not a legit HC I will be pissed.

I've been hearing that their next Head Coach could be John Fox. Any truth to that?

I hope to God that Ryan stays though. He is really doing something with a D made up of schmucks.

I couldn't find any links either after getting the text. I would rather not see him get fired.

He won't be fired. A 4 game winning streak in Cleveland is rather rare. I think he needed to win all 4....and he did.

If I posted a rumor with no link, Id get roasted. Especially using Bruce Drennan as the source?

Actually it was a "have you heard" type of post. It was sent to me in a text message and I wondered if anyone else heard the same thing. That is all. Maybe people don't like you, idk.

If Mangini gets fired I'm going absolutely ballistic.

The Browns have a few good things working for them now. Joe Thomas anchors a line that will only get better, and Joshua Cribbs and Jerome Harrison are some tools for an offensive coordinator.

Call me crazy, but I think this team would vastly improve next year with a great draft. Maybe 8-8.

If Mangini is fired and they hire a truly proven HC then I'll be alright.

But if he gets fired and they bring in an unproven guy I may be a little upset.

In Monday Morning QB... Peter King said it is 60/40 Mangini will get fired. He also said the only thing that could have possibly saved him was the last four games making it a tough deciesion.

Why not give him another year i think they have shown improvement and the players they brought it were ok.

I to watched Bruce Drennan tonite and heard nothing of this. Although ESPN Insider says Shanahan is in play for HC for 2 teams now. Washington and ____????? This would be an exception I could handle. Or Gruden. Other than that, like Fab says...no more shmucks w/o experience!!

We will know Mangini's fate tomorrow is my guess. I have heard there is a meeting but nothing about him getting a pink slip.

If you can get Gruden and you know you can, you fire Mangini. If not, you keep him

No chance Gruden, Shanahan, or Cowher comes to Cleveland now. Not going to take orders from Holmgren.

Gruden has worked successfully with Holmgren before. I agree the other two wouldn't come.
