These bring the lulz, especially the two about job hunting. When I was looking for my first job I can't tell you how many times I was given delusional advice form delusional baby boomers. "You need to go door to door!!!"SportsAndLady;1746316 wrote:

Agreed. The bottom left one is irritating. Applying for jobs is probably the worst thing in life. ISIS should make prisoners do it as a form of torture.like_that;1746319 wrote:These bring the lulz, especially the two about job hunting. You bunch of worthless ungrateful little shits won't ever achieve close to what myself and many of my contemporaries have accomplished. And if for some reason you think we fucked up and the world owes you something...well then the jokes on you because we don't give a fuck and hope you have to work til you're 80z.

I graduated in '08, one of the worst times ever to find a job as a college grad. I struggled mightily.
My dad is a fucking legend, but I had to hold myself back from laughing in his face one day when he told me this. I would be sitting in their basement applying everyday...
"You need to get your ass out there! You need to knock on some fucking doors!"
He had 30+ years in a steel mill and owned his own business since like 81, he knows fuck all about what it takes to find a job these days.

Christ who the fuck ever went out and "knocked on doors" ? Even back in the 80s I used employment services and trade publications to find jobs. We worked our way up to VPs & CEOs and don't GAF if you turds have to struggle (we struggled and now we got ours) if you work your asses off you may get yours too...but we sure as hell ain't given it to you, so quit whining about how tough ya got it...pussies.

It wouldn't even be bad if there weren't on their high horse so much. Umm when you guys were in your twenties you were hippies....we have been working with machines that have more processing power than the lunar lander since we were teenagers.
Just something about people always thinking the younger generations are worse.

I'm not disputing that boomers didn't work hard, I mean, look at all the neat shit they did and invented, it's remarkable. But you have to agree that the entire generation is a little entitled. Just like my generation is, the difference is the Gen Xers need reassurance. Being entitled and needy are not a great combination, so we'll likely struggle longer than the boomers, but it will work out. My beef with boomers is this:Tiernan;1746339 wrote:Christ who the fuck ever went out and "knocked on doors" ? Even back in the 80s I used employment services and trade publications to find jobs. The same people who were smoking and snorting every possible chemical/natural thing they could in the 60's and 70's while they're burning bras and preaching about free love and peace for all are the same fucking blowhards that are voting down gay marriage, banning medicinal marijuana dispenseries, and trying to keep women from having abortions. All the while trying their damnedest to squash science/progress for fear of a magical omnipotent white bearded stranger in the sky who may or may not like what we're doing down here. That whole generation is the embodiment of hypocrisy.

Even when the thread is spelled out for you, you still can't comprehend the subject matter. You truly are a dumbass.Tiernan;1746339 wrote:Christ who the fuck ever went out and "knocked on doors" ? Bullshit it's a thread trying to state anyone over 45 isn't sharp enough for today's world and that we somehow fucked up the world making it tougher on Gen X. And I keep saying ...LISTEN CLOSE NOW...We don't give a fuck what you think...I'm rich!GoChiefs;1746340 wrote:Nobody is whining dipshit. You're (baby boomers) more than sharp enough for this world, you're just too stubborn to take a lick of ownership for the mess you made.Tiernan;1746364 wrote:Bullshit it's a thread trying to state anyone over 45 isn't sharp enough for today's world and that we somehow fucked up the world making it tougher on Gen X. That's my point dipshit...WHAT MESS!?! From where I'm sitting (on the deck of my CC overlooking the 18th having a crab salad right now...) I really don't see much of a mess.

So how are you posting? I thought we established after your lie about being in New Orleans that you don't know how to use a cell phone properly.Tiernan;1746380 wrote:That's my point dipshit...WHAT MESS!?! The only other explanation is that you're lying. But ole Tearnan would never lie for the sake of making himself feel better about his miserable life, would he? I don't think so...

It must be one of those rich boomer things, you know. Where you're at the rich man golf club eating crab salad...while doing nothing but randomly insulting people on a small message board. Why, if I didn't know better, I'd be thinking he's probably actually at home, sweating off last night's drunk and insulting others to prop himself up before latching himself down with another case of Blatz for the afternoon and night.lhslep134;1746387 wrote:So how are you posting? ...there are actually a lot of baby boomers coming to our plant every day looking for work and it's by no means white color work. These people are in the same boat as many young people in trying to do whatever they can to feed themselves & their families because they've been downsized or displaced but they are "knocking on our door" looking to work & not sitting at home waiting for the government to give them a hand out. I applaud them for trying and we've hired quite a few because of their work ethic & willingness to learn something totally different than what they did in the past.

I love how you young pricks are soooo caught up in my life of where I am, what I'm doing...you all fail dismally at actually putting forward any evidence of why Boomers fucked up your miserable lives. God it must suck to live the mundane little lives most of you twits do. Get out your old mans .44 (I know you can't afford one) and end it now...your life at 60 is gonna be disappointing 10 fold.
