Ok. So.
I've made a resolution to quit swearing. You know--the big dawgs.
I got to thinking though---why are curse words considered curse words other than the fact that our parents told us they were bad?
Consider the following sentence:
I fornicated with a broad last night.
How is that any worse than this:
I fucked a bitch last night.
Isn't it the same thing? Aren't we talking about the same issue? If I say "I'm going to fuck you up, faggot." Isn't that the same message as "I'm going to really mess you up, you insufferable human being!"? Not only that--but I would argue that the former is a better mode of delivering your intended message of malice to your foe.
So, why are the curse words? It seems arbitrary to me and I hate arbitrary things so I'm questioning this resolution.
