We need to find a way to get Hicks and Henderson. those two guys could raise the level of play across the board

If that was to me, I never said he was.

And darby, if there is one guy OSU doesn't need its Hicks. OSU is pretty solid at LB for a couple years and Hicks wouldn't play right away.

The spots you should be looking at are OL and DT.

Hicks is pretty damn impressive. I think he'd get a shot immediately if OSU got him. I know we're solid at Linebacker, but a guy who's that good never hurts to have

-Henderson has one final official visit which could be between Oklahoma and Miami, but its mostly a free trip to the school. He won't make a decision until signing day and its between USC/OSU with many believing OSU is in the lead.

-Bryant and Anderson have stated that playing together isn't a lock but it was nice that OSU offered both of them. Anderson said WVU is the leader but Hall (Glenville/OSU player) also had OSU down on his list before picking the Bucks. Bryant still has a visit to UNC.

-James has named OSU a slight leader over ND and UF with UC dropping as usual. He said OSU is the only team without a big question mark next to them.

-Floyd plans to announce at the AA this Saturday. OSU is named the favorite and Floyd loves that OSU feels like a family program. The final three at OSU, UF, and UNC. Floyd was told by Meyer that he will be back to HC next season.

I hope OSU is in the lead for Henderson... of course, with him being from Minnesota it makes you wonder: will he pick the sun and beach of Los Angeles or wanna come to Columbus which can get just as nasty as Minny?

Don't think he's going to get them all, but hey, one can dream big. This isn't PS3 where you can practically steal every 5 star in the country

Got some good information that Floyd may not be the first commit of 2010 for OSU.

Supposedly Hankins 3* DT from Michigan (impressive offer list) will announce his decision tomorrow night.

Why can't Ohio State recruit a big time WR? Besides Posey, it's been a while since we've had a beast at WR.

Not sure but it could go either way. Just pure opinion.

Both supposedly have OSU as their leader. I could see Hankins picking UM if he feels like Floyd will go OSU on Saturday, or Hankins could go OSU with his sudden announcement to commit befor Floyd does. Which may force Floyd to another school.

It just depends on how they both feel about competition and early PT. Plus, the announcement in in Michigan on the court at halftime of his HS basketball game. I wouldn't pick OSU if I was a Michigan kid lol.

I'm not sure we cna get them both.... Floyd could really end up going somewhere else. From seeing video of both, I like Hankins more than Floyd

If Ohio State has to choose between Jon Hankins and Floyd they will take Floyd 7 days of the week.

Hankin's could be good in 2-3 year's but that's a major if. This kid's motivation and conditioning have been in major question throughout the process. It tells me all I need to know that this kid was a lifelong michigan fan and had a chance to earn an offer from Michigan at camp. He showed up about 50 pounds over weight and couldnt go more than one play at a high level of effort. He actually took himself out of the camp drills at one point because he was spent after 2 snaps in a row.

This is the kind of kid ohio state can afford to take right now but Michigan not so much.

Naw, I think some UM fans may be salty that he is leaving.

When you have an offer list that includes OSU, Bama, UF, and Oklahoma to name a few its never a bad thing to get a player like him. He'll get into the weight room and programs at the college level while the weight just falls off.

maybe a bulk of that offer list was built around his size. big size in some eyes=bigger potential
