Golden State would have won last year no matter who played for the cavs. Love and overrated Kyrie can't play defense. Well, they can, just average at best. Delly is a better defender then Kyrie and Curry destroyed him in games 4,5, and 6 and Curry really just playing average. Christmas will be the test, maybe it will be a good game......but I think not. Good luck Cavs
It's hard for me to take this argument seriously when a major part of it involves how a role-player plays better defense than a top-level scoring PG and still wasn't enough to stop arguably the best pure scorer in the game. Delly playing better defense than Kyrie and still getting torched by Curry is meaningless when you consider that Kyrie would have scored 15-20 a game more than Delly most nights and the Cavs won the one game in which Delly scored like a upper-tier player.
When you consider 3/4 of the losses were between 8-13 points, it's just foolish to act like missing two guys who probably could team up for 35-40 points on any given night wouldn't have made a difference because of their defensive shortcomings.
