That was a great tournament. Zach Johnson with majors at Augusta and St. Andrews. Pretty incredible.
Also, no Tiger, Phil (in contention) or Rory this week and we got a great tournament. Golf is in great shape.

I had a team in the top 50 out of the Draft Kings millionaire maker on Friday afternoon. It was quite exciting.
It finished out the money. It was quite disappointing.
If you couldn't guess, I had DJ on it.

My buddy won't like $300+ on that.
He had Leishman, Z. Johnson, Scott and I forget the other 3. Warren maybe. He ended up losing out on a like $400 more by Scott missing that short par putt, Oost making the playoff and Leishman not winning the playoff.

I took Zach Johnson off of my team after seeing his "St. Andrews doesn't suit my game/is least favorite Open course" comments from earlier this year. So fuck him.

As one point, that lineup was winning me almost 8 grand in a couple different contests. And then to end up with 0....tough sport to predict.Laley23;1741702 wrote:My buddy won't like $300+ on that.

What is the cost to play like this on Draft Kings?Laley23;1741702 wrote:My buddy won't like $300+ on that.

There are various different entry fees. They have been offering a free entry for all their majors though.Ironman92;1741741 wrote:What is the cost to play like this on Draft Kings?

They have contests ranging in value.
The Millionaire Maker is always $20. For the Open, there were 173k entries and the top 37k finished in the money.

I always do a $1 one when I play, even though you just donate. Very few people make any money, but I'd kill myself if I missed out on 20k or more one night when I hit it big...while playing a bunch of small ones.

You can win doing 50/50s and double ups. Just have to have patience. It's not a get rich quick thing...just grind out lineups that beat half the people in.Laley23;1741773 wrote:I always do a $1 one when I play, even though you just donate. If I ever had a lineup hit it big, like actually big, and I wasn't in the major one of the night and missed out on thousands upon thousands, I'd jump off a damn bridge lol.TBone14;1741825 wrote:You can win doing 50/50s and double ups. Oh yea. You are 100% right. Any lineup I put in a 50/50 is always going into a giant prize pool tournament, too.Laley23;1741843 wrote:If I ever had a lineup hit it big, like actually big, and I wasn't in the major one of the night and missed out on thousands upon thousands, I'd jump off a damn bridge lol.
