Turner looks good physically.

This game is over. Indiana is a lot worse than I thought they were.

Losing Creek makes them look worse than they are, but there's a reason they have losses to Boston and Loyola. I think the freshman class they have is decent, but it definitely isn't great. They really don't have very much athleticism.

Did Turner start the game and play his normal minutes?

Completely different team with Turner available. You can just see the confidence Turner gives this team and the open shots he creates just by his presence. IU isn't very good...but OSU is absolutely toying with them. How this IU team beat UM is beyond me. Glad to see OSU get this game, especially in the way they did it. Now Turner gets a couple good days of practive before going on the road vs Minny. Big game for OSU as they then have to go to Purdue. Like to see them get Minny because beating Purdue at Purdue is probably unlikely at this point.

Indiana doesn't have enough talent for Crean's coaching abilities to matter. I think some take Crean's frenetic pacing, grimacing and talking to himself on the sideline as coaching ability.

Did Turner's 8 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 20 minutes make Ohio State 30 points better than Indiana?

Ohio State beats Michigan if Turner plays.

The Buckeyes are obviously a much more confident team with Turner available, and the result of the Indiana game is what should happen, given the disparity in talent between the two teams, but the Buckeyes are still going to need to play without people with more determination and confidence if they are going to do anything this season. The Bucks have lost major parts of their team to injury for prolonged periods before and have been able to "rally round the flag" and still play effectively and with great emotion, They have to remember how they did that previously. I still like the Bucks to have a nice end of season push and a good little tournament run. They are a good ball club.

As an Indiana fan, I am still trying to figure out how the Hoosiers beat Pitt. That one is more of a head scratcher to me , than our win against Michigan.

Remarkable how much Turner means to this team.

Well, as I said, he is not only one of the best players in the country, he is OSU leading scorer, rebounder and best passer. On top of that, he is their PG. Defensively, he is not great, but solid and at 6'7", with long arms...he creates enough problems defensively. The shots he creates for others, by his presence alone, is obvious. Diebler and Buford both struggled to get shots/points. Buford had to work much harder, while forcing things often. Deibler struggled to even get shots at times.
Turner is flat out VERY good. His game has gotten better every year. And after watching Lucas this year and last nite....its not even close when it comes to who is the best player in the big ten this year IMO.

Sat is a HUGE winnable game for OSU at Minny. It won't be easy by any means. But now with Turner, they have a shot. And with Purdue coming on the road next week, the Minny game is BIG if OSU wants any shot at staying in the Big Ten race. if they start at 1-4.....its doubtful they could recover to win the regular season Big Ten.
