He had a stiff back. Apparently it was a random one day thing...confirmed by pitching today. I was skeptical at first lolTBone14;1739692 wrote:Allen on to try to close it. Not sure why he wasn't available or didn't pitch yesterday. I didn't listen to Tito's presser yesterday.

While he doesn't have a ton to show for it, Lindor has smoked the ball this series.

Anderson coming out is worrisome. There was no need for it, but I noticed his velocity was down after they came out and checked after pitch 1 of the 7th. And the he retires the first 2 with relative ease and is at 79 pitches but still comes out? Don't like it...
But, that was the first time I've gotten to watch Anderson, he has surprising stuff. I didn't think he grew that hard and has decent movement on it. Solid change of speeds as well. I was impressed. Doesn't have strikeout stuff because he doesn't have a slider/curveball, but he locates well enough to get the job done.

It's there...so frustrating this team has struggled so badly.
@kevnbaseball: The Indians outscored the Rays, Pirates, and Astros (all winning, division-leading teams when each series began) by 19 runs (47-28).

Were the pirates division leading? Seems like cards have been in first all season?Laley23;1740071 wrote:It's there...so frustrating this team has struggled so badly.

That has to be an error. No way the Bucs were ahead of the Cards. They are 5.5 back now and that series wrapped 4 days ago.Al Bundy;1740078 wrote:Were the pirates division leading? Seems like cards have been in first all season?
Either way...a nice series win for the Tribe. Gotta get at least 2 of 3 from the A's who aren't very good.

Pirates were not, though they are/were 2nd best team in MLB and leading WC in NL...so inaccurate, but equally impressive
