The fact they ruled him out for the rest of the series against Miami right after it happen I highly doubt he plays this serieslike_that;1795881 wrote:Where do you see that?

Toronto has no chance of beating Cleveland in the playoffs.
If it takes 5 games, I'd be shocked. Should be a sweep and the games won't be close.

Is the first game of the NBA Finals already set, regardless of these series lengths?

I was under the impression that it was, like June 2nd? I could clearly be wrong. I'd hate if they both go 4, and we have to wait another week and few days of constant ESPN coverage to wait til they start.Azubuike24;1795902 wrote:Is the first game of the NBA Finals already set, regardless of these series lengths?

I don't care is Valanciunas plays or not, he's not a difference maker. Cavs in 4. Detroit will prob be our toughest matchup to the finals. I bet they would have beaten a lot of other teams. Too bad they didn't get hot sooner.

True. If Cavs win in 4, they would have 10 full days off. If the other series goes 4, the winner has 9 full days off. That would be unbearable lead up to June 2nd...Commander of Awesome;1795907 wrote:I don't care is Valanciunas plays or not, he's not a difference maker. Cavs in 4. I would easily expect the cavs to sweep every team in this D League eastern conference.sleeper;1795900 wrote:Toronto has no chance of beating Cleveland in the playoffs.

Nice hyperbole. There isn't a single D-league team that would beat the bench of the last place Eastern conference team.dontcare;1795913 wrote:I would easily expect the cavs to sweep every team in this D League eastern conference.
Also, the west superiority stuff doesn't apply this year. The West is equally as bad as both leagues are extremely top heavy.

Bullshit, the Spurs, Portland, OKC and the GSW would roll through the eastern conference just as the cavs are, other then those 4 though, the west really is average.sleeper;1795929 wrote:Also, the west superiority stuff doesn't apply this year. Don'tcare is a cavs/Lebron hater troll. Only time I see him post about the cavs is stupid shit like this.

Golden State, definitely.dontcare;1795938 wrote:Bullshit, the Spurs, Portland, OKC and the GSW would roll through the eastern conference just as the cavs are, other then those 4 though, the west really is average.
San Antonio had a great regular season, but just looked old and tired against OKC to where you have to wonder if their core is too old to be handling a strong postseason push after the regular season.
OKC, probably, although Westbrook is a bizarre X Factor in that he can single-handedly cause a team to cruise...or single-handedly shoot them out of a game. They're the type of team that can potentially cruise past about anyone, or stumble badly against a team below their level, so it's hard to agree they'd roll through an entire conference.
Portland's a decent team that's no different than your Torontos and Miamis of the NBA world, if not a half-step below. Might have done better if you picked a healthy Clippers team because they at least are noticeably formidable, if not on the level of the more-or-less elite teams.

I don't think Portland deserves to be on that list at all. They are about as good as the Hawks and would not roll through anyone.dontcare;1795938 wrote:Bullshit, the Spurs, Portland, OKC and the GSW would roll through the eastern conference just as the cavs are, other then those 4 though, the west really is average.
It's not a guarantee the Spurs or Warriors would either but they would definitely both make the Finals(sans Cavs). Not sure that makes the West anywhere near the dominant league you tried to portray.

I think the west has 4 of the top 5 teams, when healthy. Portland is not one of them.

Game day!
115-101 Cavs. Cavs lead by 7-10 most of the way, then pull away last few minutes. Love leads Cavs with 28 and 12.

Cavs are favored by 11 enough to make me hesitate to bet after making a killing off them so far in the playoffs

The cavs either come out on fire or are down like 5-7 at the half. Either way I think once they get their legs they will take over the game. I'm really hoping kyrie takes this match up with lowry personal and Jr keeps playing D and locks up derozen. If even 1 of the 2 happens, this series is over in a hurry, imo.

Also I know Carroll is a good defender, but right now, shutting down lebron is impossible. Because instead of always dribbling and doing the same things, he's distributing the ball more and playing pick and roll at the ft line. Making it nearly impossible to just put a guy on him and expect to take him out of the game.

Toronto starting out hot and Cavs slow. Sweet!
