Why not hack Drummond at this point? Take him out of the game.

Cavs gave up only 43 points in the 2nd half.

This game just proved to me this will be a sweep. Pistons played out of their minds, 30% better than normal for 3 and 1/2 quarters...while the Cavs shot like crap from 3 most of the game and almost no bench help. This was Detroit's best shot...and still no win.

Didn't get to watch but Irving, Love and Lebron had a ton of production...hard to imagine them struggling to win. But glad to see Irving and Love do well.

if Detroit can make 15 3's in every game, it will be a competitive series.. that wont happen though. Cavs still sweep.

I don't want a sweep to happen just so Bieber's concert can get bumped for game 5.

I'd honestly be a little concerned if I were Cleveland. They get 81 points out of their big 3 and still barely win at home. I know the Pistons were hot from 3 but the Cavs core also had a big game so IMO they cancel out. Detroit can have big games however, they did beat GS by 20 at home in January

I'd honestly be worried if I were the GSW that the Pistons get hot and make it to the finals. Pistons made it to the finals back in 04 and no one thought they would. They obviously have GSW's number, IE the Jan game you reference.

The cavs got what they should from their big 3. They should get between 68-85 from them a night. When they do, they're gonna be tough to beat. Detroit shot nearly 30% over their average from 3, and 18% over their average from the field through 3 quarters. Yet they still lost. I still think Detroit could win a game in the series because the cavs are prone to have a bad defensive game and could lead to the pick and roll killing them. But I think they took Detroit's best game they could possibly play.

I'd honestly be a little concerned if I were Detroit. They shoot >50% from both two point and three point and hold everyone on Cleveland's roster not named Lebron, Kyrie, or Kevin to 25 points and still lose. Cleveland can have big games however, they did beat Orlando by 35 on the road in DecemberClassyposter58;1792219 wrote:I'd honestly be a little concerned if I were Cleveland. The Cavs big 3 scored 81, 21 more points than they average. They only won by 5 and were down most of the game. Now it never was a crazy margin, but still. Detroit played well above their normal too, but I wouldn't be too down if I was them.
Honestly, the T from Reggie KILLED them. It was only 1 point, as I don't think the Cavs scored after the FT, but it just sucked the life out of them. It was a 4 point game and it seemed like it was over as soon as that happened. They also were able to hold JR to single digits, which he can explode for 15-18 in a moments time.
I still think they sweep, but I expect each game to be like yesterday. Tough, hard fought games where the Cavs pull away at the end. I think it actually benefits the Cavs in the long run. The next 2 rounds are going to be absolute battles in Boston/Atlanta and Toronto/Miami, most likely. Although Indiana could make a run too.

Orlando was 12 games under 500. Cleveland should beat them by 30.friendfromlowry;1792227 wrote:I'd honestly be a little concerned if I were Detroit. Full strength Cavs also got beat by 34.

I can see the heat being an absolute battle, but the hawks/celtics? If the Cavs play like they should, there is no way that series should be an absolute battle.wildcats20;1792231 wrote:The Cavs big 3 scored 81, 21 more points than they average. Boston will muck the game up. Like last year, I meant battle as more so just physical. Would expect some hard fouls.like_that;1792235 wrote:I can see the heat being an absolute battle, but the hawks/celtics? Although, Boston would be the shorter series than Atlanta IMO. Hawks could win a game, Boston won't.
