Lol. Yeah, I am not trying to get in a pissing match either.

To be fair the Jets were 4-6 and went 5-1 down the stretch and played absurdly good defense.

It's going to be a good, tough game.

Either 13-10, 17-13 something like that.

Yeah, I would put money on the total score being less than the 37 the Jets put up on their own last week. I'll be surprised if they break 30.

Over/under is 34. Take the under and make some bank.

I think Jets win barely.

Pats-Ravens is a tough one but I haven't seen NE lose a home playoff game in awhile, so I'm not going to pick against them.

Jets at Colts...we'll get this game for real
Pats at Chargers...loads of fun

Jets put the heat on Peyton Manning and it's an ugly game but the Colts survive like 19-10 or something silly, only a late FG makes it nine points
(also somebody for the Jets will guarantee a win and try to make it like the Namath game)
Chargers win a relative shootout and look more impressive than the Colts heading into the AFC title game

San Diego at Indy...classic game, Rivers plays great but they don't beat the Colts three years in a row, Manning upstages Rivers at the end and Colts get to the Super Bowl

I picked the Ravens but I wouldn't be upset if the Pats win and the Jets win and I get to go to two playoff games this year.

Good quarterbacks have been the Ravens trouble all year it seems.

But that will be a competitive game either way.

I've probably gone to about 15-20 NFL playoff games. They're a great thrill.

Let's see

I'm 1-0 in Super Bowls
1-3 in AFC Championship Games
5-1 in Divisional Playoffs
2-0 in Wild Card

9-4 overall in the playoffs

Games I attended:

Bills at Steelers Divisional Playoffs in 1992...Bills won 24-3...this was fun though because we had a great tailgating spot by the Clark Bar and it was snowing.

Browns at Steelers Divisional Playoffs in 1994...Steelers won 29-9...Three Rivers was rocking the entire first half of this game

Chargers at Steelers AFC Championship in 1994...Chargers won 17-13...a long, silent walk down the ramps after the game

Bills at Steelers Divisional Playoffs in 1995...Steelers won 40-21...Steelers got up big, Bills rallied back and then the Steelers blew em out again, Levon and Jerry O with late interceptions

Colts at Steelers Wild Card in 1996...Steelers won 42-14...neither team was that good but the Steelers pounded Harbaugh and ran the ball all over the place

Patriots at Steelers Divisional Playoffs in 1997...Steelers won 7-6...Mike Vrabel forced a late fumble for the Steelers and Jason Gildon recovered and then spiked the ball down sending the crowd into a frenzy, ending a defensive battle

Broncos at Steelers AFC Championship in 1997...Broncos won 24-21...Steelers almost matched Elway back and forth but Kordell had some crucial turnovers that sealed their fate

Browns at Steelers Wild Card in 2002...Steelers won 36-33...the comeback game with Tommy Maddox leading the way

Jets at Steelers Divisional Playoffs in 2004...Steelers won 20-17 in OT...actually sat in the end zone that Doug Brien was kicking to when he missed the two late FGs, it was pandemonium

Patriots at Steelers AFC Championship in 2004...Patriots won 41-27...Ben's rookie magic runs out, the big play was a backbreaking 87-yard INT return by Rodney Harrison, Steelers were driving to make it 17-10 but then it became 24-3 and too big of a hill to climb

Steelers at Colts Divisonal Playoffs in 2005...Steelers won 21-18...lived in Columbus at the time so it was an easy drive over to Indy and the RCA Dome

Ravens at Steelers AFC Championship in 2008...Steelers won 23-14...flew all the way up from Florida Saturday and then right back at 6 am Monday morning

Steelers vs. Cardinals Super Bowl XLIII...Steelers won 27-23...perfect situation living only a couple hours from Tampa, obviously a terrific game

Polamalu's interception last year slightly edges those missed field goals as my favorite chill moment

I enjoyed going to Indy though. I didn't know if being on the road and in a dome would be the same but it still rocked

Since you seem to be the only confident Bengals fan I say we have some sort of bet on this game.
Sounds good to me. I think it will be a very close low scoring game that could go either way, but gotta back up my team. :) What kind of a bet do you want to do?

Also, where are your tickets? I'm going to the game but not sure where I'll be sitting just yet.

Section 228, row 32 I think.

As for the bet how about $500? :) Or just an avatar/user title bet for the duration of the playoffs.

Alright, I'll probably be way up high, but that's fine with me.

Sounds like a good bet to me. Might be bad karma as this is essentially a bet against Nick Mangold in 2 ways now. I'm probably screwed now, but oh well. :)

Just picked up some tickets today, $100 for the pair. Stubhub and ebay have great prices. Gonna be cold as balls but should be a blast.

Man, I got screwed. I bought tickets early for $100/each and there are a shit ton of better tickets available for much cheaper. Oh well.

Well ! Had to go to page 3 to dig this thread up. Are the bungal fans really that nervous?
Should be no pressure. They haven't won a playoff game since???????????????????????????

I would say Carson easily has the most pressure in this game. Along with Ocho.

Bengals haven't won a playoff game since 1990.

They got there in 2005 but lost to the Steelers at home so it ended up being a bitter end.

Who knows what the future holds in the AFC North but Baltimore and Pittsburgh have better organizations.

Bengals have to step up and win this one.

Wow! Has it really been since 1990? I knew they were bad but not that bad. Is that the longest streak going?

I thought the Pirates streak was embarrassing as a fan. This one beats the Pirates.

The Bengals last playoff win was 41-14 on Jan. 6, 1991

The following week they lost to the Raiders 20-10. The game Bo Jackson suffered his career-ending injury.

Detroit's last playoff win came after the 1991 season, on Jan. 5, 1992.

Lions defeated the Cowboys 38-6

That is the Lions only playoff win since 1957
