Good thing I got in before game 2. We can still salvage the series! Let's take the next two for "two in a row" and take the series!

**Sorry I missed game 1. Have been out of state and didn't really pay much attention on here while I was gone.**

It's depressing that a 10 game winning streak would only take us to .500 this early in the year.

2nd worst record in all of MLB right now.

Who saw that coming 1 month into the season?

It's depressing that even if the Cavs weren't in the playoffs these guys would already be an afterthought. Could the Tribe get out to a fast start just once?

Like another Cleveland Sports franchise they fundamentally don't believe in the idea of offense or scoring. As we have seen with that franchise it is hard to sustain winning when you can't score. Shaponetti should finally be learning that lesson even though it has clearly flown over the head of those at Lou Groza bvld.

I didn't expect 2nd worst, but I didn't expect to even sniff the playoffs. Lot of question marks at pitching 3-5 in starting rotation and no bats to speak of. Not a recipe for success.

I didn't expect this at all. Usually, there are always a few things that happen that you don't forsee, but I certainly didn't expect this slow a start. The thing that has been the killer has been the pitching(despite all the moaning about hitting). I expected this team to be solid all across the staff, but neither the starters nor the relievers have been consistent. Mickey Callaway is going to earn his money trying to get these guys back on track.

This is a bit off topic but I hate the person who runs the Indians official Twitter account. After any win, the next day they are all like, "Let's keep it rolling." Ummm...no. We have won 1 game out of 5....that is not rolling in sense of their intention. We have been rolling, however, straight into a dumpster fire.

Moving Santana to the 2 hole is a good play. He has a huge OBP. I didn't know this bt Ramirez has only one hit batting right handed this season. Maybe he should give up on switch hitting.

The team is playing bad in all phases, with their defense starting to look like last year's disaster. The other day, they made 3 boneheaded plays in a row...and not even talking about Santana's SNAFU chasing down the guy on third. With a guy on third, Lonnie throws the ball in the dirt when he had the guy out by 15 feet. The next play Bautista doubles to left center and the guy who just reached on Chisenhall's error blows through the stop sign and tries to score. Ramirez' relay was 15 feet wide up the first base line. That's hard to do from short left field. The next guy rolls one to Kipnis and it tips off his mitt like it was Pony League.

But yes the biggest disappointment is the pitching. Just pathetic. Not one guy can get people out in the bullpen.

The lack of bats have a negative affect on the starters though.

Someone like Kluber who gets no support is trying way too hard to be perfect out there because he knows that if he gives up 2-3 runs that could be it for the game. It does have a psychological impact on performance.

None of our pitchers go out there and pitch free and easy. All of them are gripping hard because there is no margin for error.

I think ultimately guys are coming back down to earth a bit. Kluber is a really good pitcher, but I don't think he is necessarily the King Felix type he was the second half the year. Carasco had a good half a year and suddenly he is thought to be a lock down #2 starter and it is more likely he is a solid 3-4 man.

Unfortunately this team was built in a way that needs those guys to pitch like they did in the 2nd half for us to even have a shot. It's just not a realistic plan.
