There isnt one scenario besides bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th where he shouldnt be intentionally walked. The indians have proven they cannot get him out. Mental block is a great way to describe it. We know they are the team to beat...and we want to beat them so bad and it just doesn't happen. The Tigers own us. They come in and play loose and we try as hard as we can...and play tight and horribly.IggyPride00;1720949 wrote:

^^^I alluded to this in post #41 on this thread, and it goes back to the year when we had Stubbs, and we had the fastest team in both leagues. As big and slow as the Tigers were that year, and even though their catcher was bottom half of the league in throwing guys out, they actually outran us in that crucial September series.
