Finishing up Season 4 (trying to) to refresh before Sunday night. Going to have to cram a few eps. a night. Looking forward to this season.

- Wish there were more than 10 episodes
- Wish there was no so much damn time between season end and season premier.

The 1 thing I can think of that I'm not really looking forward to are all the awkward ass scenes between the pedo and Sansa.

Isn't she like 15/16 in the show? I'm not saying the dude is a pedo irl. Bro.

Also, that storyline is probably the most boring one.

Yes. Not sure how much time has passed but she was 13 in season one.

I do know there's supposed to be an "age lift" from the books to the show, though. Because of how creepy-pedo the whole concept of young teens/pre-teens getting boned or threatened with rape is. I know in the books, Sansa and Dany both start out in the 12-14 group, but thought they were older than that for the show.

Like, I know for one thing, in the second book, one aspect of the Sansa-Joffrey betrothal was her desperately hiding all evidence that she'd started her first period because that meant she was now a woman and that meant she'd be risking whole new levels of torment at his hands.

A little less than two years between the Starks finding the direwolves and Tywins death.

Stay away if you don't want spoilers. A timeline from the books... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aj_uNZmcJaTddG9BVU5tRnJJTE5KcE5JRkFha1ZfNUE#gid=8

Or just follow the instructions from the thread title and don't post spoilers, even if they require a click.

I have no problem with the child actors getting older. Not having read the books, I'd have no problem believing 5+ years have passed - not a lot of "time" clues in the show. And as far as the tv show goes, I don't really see how the age of anyone is particularly relevant....except maybe the pyscho girl that is obviously going to become a brutal assasin (well, same goes for the dragons but I have no idea how quickly a dragon should mature).

More info on the timeline. According to Game of Thrones wiki...

Because the younger kids change in appearance the show considers one season equal to one year. There are inconsistencies... in episode 1 Sansa says she is 13. On her wedding night in season 3 she tells Tyrion she is 14.

http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline scroll about 3/4ths down for the info. The page is season 5 (and beyond) spoiler free as of 4/9/15.

Id rather wait. Don't want to go another month without an episode.

I was thinking the same. I'd love to watch the first 4 then having to wait would kill me lol.

What would suck is having to wait to discuss the extra episodes.

Tough call. If the full season were available, I'd watch it today. Think I'll wait...besides, I don't want to watch on my computer when waiting a few weeks I get 1080p on the bigscreen.
